I forgot to mention as part of 61.103, one of our eligibility requirements for becoming a private pilot also includes being able to hold a medical certificate! The video specifically on medical certificates has also now been posted, check it out!

Yes! You just don’t want to over rely on it, as long as you can talk about the subject matter, if there’s a specific piece you forget, part of the checkride is showing the examiner that you can use your resources to find the answer!
