I would love for cody to host a competition show but act like an exaggerated host from early 2000s

I feel like the sexualization of the actresses in this show is also reflective of the role of women in the horror genre at the time. Most of the time, female characters were just there to look hot and then get cut into pieces right after.

I worked with the winner, Tanedra, at hooters hollywood (which is now shut down post pandemic). Kind of disgusts me they promised her she wouldn't have to wait tables anymore. She's still acting but they really didn't give her the momentum they claimed would happen

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Cody's hair is back to normal and content is top notch. Everything is right with the world again

The Asian girl's remarks -not the "sexy" one, the rac!st one- made me so, so sad/mad. I know they were drunk but that doesn't excuse *anything.* Saying that on national TV, without any shame and without thinking? Zero self awareness as a minority herself- just a mix of jealousy, ignorance, and plain old cruelty. Knowing reality TV at the time, I'm sure other girls must've been super nasty to Tanedra as well, so just for that I'm glad she won lol that's a great middle finger to the girls who disrespected her. But at the end of the day it still makes me so sad to see that kinda comportment- speaking as an Asian woman myself, it's so upsetting to see POC tearing each other down for no reason instead of raising each other up. It's still frequent to this day in a lot of communities unfortunately.

I always hated watching any reality tv show/competition because there was always ONE “token” black girl in a room filled of non black people. I had a friend who's sister went on one of the dating shows and she said her cast members would say rude crap and then when she got upset the camera's would be on her making her look like the stereotypical angry black girl. That changed my view on those type of shows. I've also noticed they usually never pick the minorites to win. So it was nice to see this woman won.

To be far, the winner of the competition was a favorite of mine in the show. She was literally just,"Excuse me but how am I supposed to learn anything and change my life when you made me cut off my arm!"

That was a lot to take in at once. The almost p0rn like scenes, the subtle sexual exploitation, the fact that they still managed to sneak in a little slut-shaming, the random racism n fatphobia. shit came outta nowhere it was like getting beat up by the flash, u never saw any hits coming.

The funniest thing about this show for me is that in the second season, Rosanna Pansino (yes, that youtube baker) was on it as a contestant

the overall sound effects added by Cody were making each commentary break funnier that the previous one but the Super Mario one absolutely killed me

man, the film industry is fucked. i had an experience in film school where they put directors in as actors and had us reenact ("reinterpret") a sex scene. anything anyone would do would set them off, whether there was choreography, or props. i worked with two partners and they were both great, but the profs were especially hard on me and broke down the scene as if i was doing everything wrong. they did this to literally everybody. it was honestly so painful to do, in spite of the students trying to work together to make the environment and scenes as safe and creative as possible. a lot of us were uncomfortable and one of the professors after the class discussed how the midterm was probably not a good idea, since there was also nothing were could have really done to prepare for it, unless you've taken that class before. just such a bad experience and exercise that i think went on for years and is one of the reasons that caused quite a few ppl to leave the program. including myself. glad i got out of it for now tbh

I remember this show!! The epsisode where they have to cry on cue is burned into my memory because the coaches were literally like "what's the worst thing you can think of" and one contestant said it would be her sister dying and so they made her think of what it would like to grieve her sister.

My favorite part of this show was most definitely the fact that they were constantly scaring the shit out of the contestants for giggles. I also love the improv factor, as a theater kid of 10 years, seeing them improv (some very .. very badly) was so entertaining and interesting. Seeing the shots they got and comparing, i probably learned... something.
