If one has ever carried a baby or a toddler in a carrier, one knows it is vital to have a hip strap to distribute the weight onto the hip and not having it hang from ones shoulders. This looks so awesome but not having that hip strap to take the weight off is something I wish they would add!! I hope they would consider this. Maybe I missed it and there is a hip strap after all?
Hello Torvi, I found your comment very interesting, we don't have a hip strap right now but I get your point, when you carry the bag over your shoulder the hip strap can bring stability and distribute the weight more even. We will look into it.
@@crafting-kingdomsYou wonderful people! I feel honored that you would take the content of my comment into consideration. It would make it so much more easy to carry all the games that do fit in this great bag! Thank you, truly for replying at all! Happy gaming!!
@@crafting-kingdoms also, my thought was not taking the bag out of the car and into someone's home (this looks perfect for that!!) but more so for conventions when one does purchase more games than one probably should ;)
@@crafting-kingdoms a hip strap is absolutely essential!!!!! Without it this bag would be useless in my eyes. Because the primary use case, I can think of for it, is shopping/trading at Essen Spiel... so you need to be able to walk around with it for a loooong time. Only other plausible use-case is hosting a game night at some tertiary location away from ones home for 40+ people. I find that prospect rather niche. Even the board gaming convention use case is fairly niche, but a little less so. Finally it might be the bag with the boardgames one takes on holiday. But also - that must be one very long holiday and a family not at all willing to pack a few games into one box, as one usually does in such a case to save space.
Not to be rude, but for this price I'll stick to using my traveling suitcase with wheels. Why would I risk it buying a big backpack that comes in 6 months (at the earliest) with a duffle bag or hiking pack even bigger, available today, doing the same thing? Loved the energy though Rahdo and the mats seem cool.
The bag looks great and certainly has an amazing capacity for transporting games however lifting it when full would be difficult for the average person.
we didn't have a problem with it, but we also carry our dogs around with backpacks so we're used to 20-30 lbs on our back :) but there's also the option to just sling it over your shoulder or carry it briefcase style too depending on how you deploy the straps...
Hello, Sharon. Normally, a bag full of standard games will not weigh more than 35 lbs. We believe that our bag provides you with many options for handling this, with the backpack straps and handles being the best options for heavier loads.
