In September 2020, Ivelisse and Thunder Rosa took each other on in a match on AEW Dyamite for the NWA womens championship. Ivelisse had been signed to AEW following winning the AEW womens tag team cup, and Thunder Rosa was brought into AEW in a working agreement with the NWA. Both women are good workers and it looked like we were in for what should be a decent match. But as this match went on, it was apparent to fans watching at home that something was up. Something either wasn’t clicquing between the two or the two weren’t co-operating and throughout the match we would see Ivelisse no-selling and sandbagging Thunder Rosa’s offence and Thunder Rosa as a result started hitting harder and the match descending into chaos, and it was this match that kicked off some long term AEW drama...

Ivelisse is that person that nothing is ever their fault, its always someone elses fault. Once she starts taking accountability for her actions she can save her career. Shes literally had the same issues in all the companies shes worked for, the big ones anyway.

You're right bro. Ivellise has had the same problem at least two places she's worked: Thunder Rosa. They didn't get along in LU, and Rosa clearly sabotaged/politiced her out of AEW. Her issues in WWE were on Bill Demott. Otherwise, she's had no real problems/drama anywhere else.

Thunder Rosa as Cobra Moon was reportedly known for having a bit of an attitude despite being a rookie at the time of LU. LU reshot a bunch of spots for most matches, but the commentary and Ivelisse's description of what happened, plus the Marina Shafir incident kinda pulls back the curtain. Ivelisse didn't handle it well, but it takes two to tango and people dunked on her while ignoring Rosa's part in this. I feel bad for her.

You know, everybody talks about Rosa and Marina Shafir, but nobody talks about Rosa and Miyu Yamashita. It wasn't as weird as the match with Marina was, but she acted funny throughout the match, no sold a bunch of offense and even kicked out of the Skull Kick. Straight up Big Timed her.

I thought this was going to be Top 10, but there was only Top 2? Either way, I heard Thunder Rosa had been known for sandbagging opponents. But never seen it myself and thought it was just bull until I saw her match with Marina Shafir. That was horrible, and even at the end when Marina attacked her after the match and put Rosa in a hold. Rosa just set there and didn't sell a damn thing.

I've been thinking about this Thunder Rosa Ivellise situation for a while and after watching this video/Chris Vanvleet interview, this is definitely a personal Ivellise issue she's jealous or too stubborn to understand Thunder Rosa's view on wrestling business or maybe it's something else personal idk we're not in the locker room with these women, but I side/support thunder Rosa from what I've seen in the ring from her and the multiple people that have nothing but good things to say about her as a person IRL

If AEW don’t fix their sh*t I could see WWE snatching up Jade & Thunder Rosa. The possible rivalry between indie icons Thunder Rosa & Asuka automatically screams Wrestlemania main event, not to mention Jade V Charlotte V Bianca. Saraya also mentioned a possible return… if all 3 leave AEW I can see that as the catalyst to the end for them as more fans would loose hope in the product. Other talent would also look at switching teams as I believe Triple H most likely wants Athena & Ruby back . Toni might be harder to get back but I could see her alongside Jamie switching aswell, imagine Jamie, Blair & Toni in a stable! Or even Paige, Shotzi & Ruby.

ivelisse ain't in the right for what she did but neither is rosa. a lot of people like to accuse ivelisse and britt baker of being bad people and think that rosa is a perfect angel when she has pissed off more women in aew than just about anyone else britt baker, jamie hayter, saraya, toni storm to name a few. so im willing to bet that rosa has done things to piss off other wrestlers and it jjust seems like shes better at hiding it

Ok this story is about two women who are absolutely unprofessional one whose been released (Iveliesse) and one well her way to suffering the same fate (Thunder Rosa) matter of fact that entire division has massive problems with tales of bullying and having a toxic working environment. They had to create another show to put other wrestlers who don’t like each other (The Elite, Adam page) away from CM punk and his minions no veteran leadership in that company also on that show you guessed it Thunder Rosa who’s yet to wrestle btw when it came time to drop the belt to Tony Storm she pulled the “back injury” card and wouldn’t drop the belt to her. What I remember about her title run was her never defending that title but only sparingly and having that title at her promotion (MP) also making very wild and weird statements on certain wrestlers.

She wanted to drop the title but it was the PROMOTER idiot who kept it on her. Thunder doesn’t decide when she defends the title, the PROMOTER does. As far as your “tales” with the women, what makes you think there are “tales”? Some stupid gossip by Baker? You said Thunder was “well on her way to suffering the same fate”. Thunder Rosa was also NWA Women's Champion and had no issues there. Why is it that AEW tends to have more fights and unprofessional behavior than most? I feel like everyone is looking at the wrong common denominator here. Edit: Marina Shafir is probably the worst women's wrestler I've seen. Worse than Cargill. I don't think Rosa's to blame there. In fact, everyone was looking forward to her match with Jade, and ended up disappointed that it wasn't the wreck they thought it would be.

Thumbs down, the only thing saving you from a harsher critique is that you have two legit sources for your obvious complaining. Two of the three wrestlers who are equally not considered good themselves. One of whom Tony Schiavone had to tell Dr. Britt Baker on AEW All Access to quote "let it go."

As for Britt Baker, I used to not mind her that much but after her immature and unprofessional behavior behind the scenes during her time in AEW, I don’t like her at all anymore. And frankly I really don’t know what Adam Cole sees in her. She looks ok but it’s her attitude and personality I can’t stand!

Ivelisse was not a good fit for AEW in my opinion, if she stops cooperating and sandbags during a match, she’s therefore untrustworthy. Glad she’s gone from there!
