Azavean83 Baldwin Hills Estates and Baldwin Vista are very safe neighborhoods. It's like asking "is Bel Air or Beverly Hills safe?" Baldwin Hills Estates and Baldwin Vista are affluent, upper-class neighborhoods of black professionals (doctors, lawyers, celebrities, etc.). When your neighborhood or community has wealth it will be well-protected by law enforcers. That's the name of the game. Baldwin Village aka "The Jungles" lie at the bottom of these neighborhoods and are represented by lower-income blacks. Unfortunately, Baldwin Village is plagued by economic crimes.
