I kind of wish I had the opportunity to live in Africa. America is a nice place and all but sometimes I think about how my life would be if my ancestors were never brought over here.
not all black people were brought over to america, most are actually indigenous to the land. black people were in america before Columbus, look up the Olmecs
Yolonda Argrow Have peace in knowing that Black Americans were already in North America well before how the story is being taught in schools! And we were living in peace and harmony and were free.
Undoubtedly Your women are truly beautiful, the many different shades and colour makes them some of the beautiful women in the world. I would love to visit Africa one day, my daughter spent a year in Senegal, and she was the one who said how very beautiful the people are.
i really enjoyed this video. in america all too often ladies like beyonce', tyra banks and mariah carey represent black beauty although these ladies are beautiful, this video help me to appreciate the real beauties of Africa. these ladies are very beautiful
thank you for posting this keep on spreading the beauty everyone is beautiful those people hu can not appreciate are people hu will never be beautiful in the eyes of people
The original black beauties are in Africa. Black people around the world are about to realize the diversity of black beauty in Africa. Check out Ethiopia, Comoros, Tanzania, Cape Verde, Senegal, Madagascar, and Eritrea.
I'm tired of Seeing White Women as images of Beauty . I wanted something new like Beautiful African women in traditional Clothing even me myself is a White Man with Blonde Hair and Blue Eyes.
u should see the girl in 1:34, she has a very beautiful long neck which is very typical of africans. africa is such a big ccntinent and there are women of all shapes and sizes there, with the most diverse features u will ever see on any human race. life truly comes from africa!
i love this video i think woman are walking works of art! can't we all just get along and stop the hate and negative attitudes towards each other my beautiful sisters?! by the way i loooove that song ever since i heard it in the movie phat girlz :-)
Its crazy how jealous other races can be. All races are beautiful, but in my opinion the African race is just exquisite. As a white man with a Gambian wife, you just love African women. They are the perfect mothers, lovers, and women in general. The more you stay around the the more you realize how sweet, open, caring, and friendly their culture is. And the Food. Hey!
I'm Nigerian and no offense to any of the women in this picture but we have even prettier girls here. The fact that you would post all these pictures as if we are meant to be proud of these mediocre looking women, and portraying them as if that's the best we've got is a bit insulting and discrediting.
Well my dear, don't get blind by the beauty standard of the narrow minded. Learn yourself to be wise enough to see the beauty where others cannot see it. This is exactly where we are failing my dear. We get buy by what others sell to us as beautiful. And this is what really sad to see and experience. God hand made is perfect, we all are perfect, unique and beautiful both inside and outside... One love, One hearth! - God bless you!
Beautiful people. Beautiful video. So beautiful that some feel the need to leave hateful comments. Ha ha. Listen up hateful people. You are losing your power. You are finished. -G
I spent several months in Cote d'Ivoire, and Liberia. I found African women to be beautiful generally. The wrap (lapa) and t shirt is very sensual and shows their figures very flatteringly. I met a Nigerian woman that was stunning. I hope to go back again and live there. The climate agreed with me there too. If I do I will probably take an African wife.
Let's face it, blacks/africans are one with the 'Mother Earth' and the Universe. We have been given the gift of Melanin /Carbon by God. We are walking fertile earth that brings forth 'life' just like the fertile earth that brings forth vegetation. We are the lifeblood of the planet. i cant wait until i get older and graduate from school so i can move to africa im tierd of being the only black kid in my classroom im ready to be with my peoples i cant wait to see u guys in about 7 years
@chilvari I'm really glad we stopped arguing. :) Anyway, I'm one of the few Black Americans who takes a sincere interest in their TRUE heritage, not gangs and "ni**a wars" and "thugs". I've always been reading Negro folklore from the Southern US (where my family's from) and the Caribbean and West Africa and I see the HUGE cultural connections between Motherland Blacks and Diasporic Blacks. It's amazing what people had to do to keep their heritage alive in the New World.
I am from Puerto Rico, of African Spanish descent, lived in West Africa for three years and I can tell you that there are so many beautiful African women that sometimes you really don't know where to look at, you see a pretty one then you see a prettier one, leaving you confuse. Love the way they braid and plat their hair; overall, I'd go back to Africa in a heartbeat.
To all the haters hating on blackwomen, Stop It! We are beautiful and diverse women no matter what anyone says. Wether your hair is natural relaxed, relaxed, or you wear weave it doesn't matter you are beautiful no matter what!!! Pay no attention to the haters cuz they just feel the need to hate on us to make themselves feel good .To all my black sisters I urge dare you to stand up, defy society and say " I am beautiful" and belive it and tell the rest of the world to go go to hell!!!
I'm not taking about that. I'm referring to the role of white male in the Western society and how he's being portrayed whether "jokingly" in a TV commercial or subliminally elsewhere. If you're living outside of America, then it might be hard to understand, and for that, I apologize.
Also, It doesn't matter what shade your skin is all black women are beautiful. Period. You don't have to be "mixed" to be considered beautiful! So get off our backs and leave us alone!!!!
As young as most of these girls were, I assume that the singer must be the African R. Kelly. Dude, show some grown up African WOMEN and leave these young girls alone.
these women look like some of my family members, even though we were born in this USA from slavery ancestory and can not trace most of our origins, but you can see the resemblence in some parts of the country.
@SaintPandemonium I agree about the self love concept. It's just that, I see/hear so many people refering to others by skin color and I think it's quite ignorant. There is self love in these color concepts but at the same time there's negativity in it as well. The culture of America, for example, is largely based on skin color. There are traditional elements that have been there for generations but most of it goes back to racism, discrimination and identity crises' of sorts.
Being "white" ain't race but evolution issue. Surprisingly few of us ("whites") actually have internalized our genetic background as descents of Africans with pale color of skin and other facial features. Until the beginning of this Holocene most of Europeans had as much African than European shape of head with relatively dark skin. Route to Europe: Africa- Yemen- Coastal Indian Ocean route - Pakistan- Fertile Crescent (or Central Asia) - Turkey - Europe.
One thing I always say is that people in Africa will look darker because it is hot year round and you tan when you go out the. Case and point my mother. When she returned to Africa and she looked darker than I remembered. I took pix taken in the u.s. to compare and she was definitely darker. I was confused until my sis pointed out she lived in a very sunny country. My mother will qualify as light skin anywhere, which is why Americans did not believe she was African or unmixed.
see we come from a place that is rich in culture and history a black woman gave birth to the world for god sakes and we got to put each other down all the time and we come from a blace were everybody dont look the same africa is the only place where you can see ppl from light to night dark without being mixed
@tolldoll100 I was referring to the "South Africa" and "North Africa" thing. People tend to categorize Africa as 2 seperate countries. I only shortened it to "Africa". Yes, it got lost in translation. I should've put North or South in front of it to specify. It has nothing to do with me learning geography. I know the continents, and over 100 different countries around the world. But the fact of the matter is, half of the time "Africa" is referred to as 2 seperate countries, not a continent
Man you know the same thing happened to me. I was working with this hot girl from South Africa and one day we were talking. I asked her were did she like living better America or South Africa she said Africa and I was like WHAT!!! you like living over there with lions and hyena's She got pissed and really let me have it. She told me in Africa she had her own car a house and every thing we have here. She said she dosn't like it because everything we show about Africa is them living in tribes
@tolldoll100 and btw, I was referring to South Africa. The whole continent is beautiful and needs to be seen and heard, but it seems like South Africa is being publicized more than the North for being poor and having several deadly diseases
I was raised by my Parents who are Both Nordic Looking with Blue Eyes,Blonde Hair ( though Me and My Dad's Blonde hair are Slightly darker than My Mom and Sisters ) and Fair Skin with a Notion Only White Women are Beautiful and that Black Women and Other Women of Color are unattractive. But I never believed my Parents and this did not Stop me from getting along and Hanging out with My 4 Best Friends- 2 Black, 1 Korean and 1 Indian Who are All People of Color plus these Video disproves the Myth of My Parents that Black Women and Other Women of Color are Unattractive.
Genetic mutation take place everyday in everyone on a microscopic. For others it is macroscopic. This is why certain African groups posses lighter skin individuals than others. If the people who were lighter were mating more then eventual the ethnic group will look lighter with a few outliers who are really light and really dark.
I think when people work so hard to oppress and demoralize what God created they must pay. We should forgive and at times pity those who can not see beauty in all people. No racial group is better than the other. The bible says "one blood' and "all have sinned." We all pp and dodo and everybody in the world dodo smell. No one is better. Black women are beautiful. Those that hate will get what they deserver no matter what ethnic group they belong to.
@chilvari I apologize for calling you White, but the things you were saying were things I usually see/hear from White folks, so pardon me on that. You realize "black" evolved out of the term "los negros" used by the Spanish/Portuguese when they were taking Africans into the New World, right? Brown skin so dark it looks black, but it's really just a very, very dark shade of brown---but the idea of Blackness is now an inheritance of self-love for us.
OH MY GOODNESS WHY FIGHTING LIKE IGNORANT??? WE ARE ALL CREATED BY GOD AND WHEN HE CREATED US HE SAID "THAT IS GOOD" SO WHY ARE WE CYBER BULLING EACH OTHER WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT COLOR WE ARE IF BLACK OR WHITE WOMEN WANT 2 CELEBRATE THEIR BEAUTY THEN THEIR IS NO PROBLEM W/ THAT. PLEASE LET'S ALL ACT LIKE ADULT AND STOP THE FIGHTING THANK U
@chilvari Nice to meet you, too! ^^ The best DNA tests I've seen are like $200 - $500, depending on the type you want (matrilineal or patrilineal) and which lab you go to. AfricanAncestry is the best, however. Go to their site! Also, whenever I try and click on your name, it says that your profile doesn't exist. o_O?
@chilvari It's not so much what you said, it's how you said it. Language is a precarious tool. Africa is not a monolith, so no one appreciates the singular use of "culture" in reference to African peoples, but this idea--that Africa is a monolith--pervades Western society.
Hehe, I thought Africa, was all tree's and jungle to let the TV tell yah... Glad to see this it has inspired me to make a trip there.. Seeing as though Seattle has shown me more then the frekn midwest about culture differences.. Has led me here to see more, I like..
