Would be interesting to have "the African origins of philosophy" as your next video in this series.

The features of the ancient Sphinx has typical features of broader noses with a nasal index similar to that of tropical Africans, it also had thicker lips. One thing people don't notice about the sphinx is that it shows clearly the sphinx was modelled after a person with strong prognathism (the forward development of the upper and lower jaw. This is another typical tropical African feature. And then also look at the smaller, rounder headshape of the sphinx, the round-ish looking eyes and the high cheekbones. I believe the evidence points to the Sphinx being modelled after a Nilotic woman, not a man. Just look at the side profile of a Nuer/Dinka woman ajd the Sphinx, the similarity is undeniable

@Sex'' Allatus Angelus I just finished the video. It always bothers me when a historic perspective is revealed to be different from what popular culture portrays. It's like waking up and genuinely being scared to go back to sleep

Another thing about those stone circles is that the rocks are tonal. When you hit them they make different sounds.

Astronomical calendar is a good way, our ancestor use it for agricol stuff and maybe they found how to use it a night. African centrism in the egyptian history is a must have for now..

Extremely interesting stuff but you know 500 years to 40000 is a bit of a jump (!) so probably best to highlight it not gloss over it plus any of the 39500 years inbetetween the two!! This really really needs someone to hurry up with proper archeological investigation and dating

Who were these Mediterranean people? "This timing had led some scholars to suggest the event sparked a “black genesis” for the cultural development in Egypt. However, the idea is controversial. Human remains at Nabta Playa seemed to be from people of both Central African and Mediterranean descent." Source: Nabta Playa: The World's First Astronomical Site Was Built in Africa and Is Older Than Stonehenge Discover Magazine _________________ "Elaborate burials at the nearby cemetery at Gebel Ramlah indicate the nomads consisted of Mediterranean and sub-Saharan populations with little social stratification." I read that too. But the book “Black Genesis” states that the cave drawings depict black people.

These people entered Africa through Egypt during the stone age. So how many settled in Egypt is the question? This shows that there were other types of people in North Africa besides black Africans before Egypt had developed. Maybe these people were in the Nabta Playa population? "So the study has not only made it possible to confirm the Eurasian origin of the U6 lineage but also to support the hypothesis that some populations embarked on a back-migration to Africa from Eurasia at the start of the Upper Palaeolithic, about 40-45,000 years ago. The Pestera Muierii individual represents one branch of this return journey to Africa of which there is no direct evidence owing to the lack of Palaeolithic fossil remains in the north of Africa." Source: Migration back to Africa took place during the Palaeolithic Science Daily

@@CrowdPleeza I can tell you what they are, ancient south-west Asian settlers and of course ancestors to the ancient Natufians. Human migration and genetics of horn African populations show an ancient mixing occured between proto Nilo Saharan and proto west Eurasians dating to the Paleolithic, prior to the advent of agriculture in the near east. We can also that this means the proto west Eurasians would have looked closer in appearance to black Africans. Now relating this to migration, we know that the domestication of livestock occured prior to agriculturalism in Africa, and there was a very early spread of these Afro asiatic speaking pastoralists from north to eastern Africa essentially starting the Savannah Pastoral Neolithic culture. These are obviously the descendants of modern day horn Africans. What does this mean? Although Eurasians did exist in the north and interbred with Africans, they likely did not start the culture that would form the Nile Valley civilizations, that knowledge csme from the south. And craniometric analysis also concluded that most people would have had a tropical African phenotype. Also, Egyptologists such as Keita believe the original culture was originally pastoral, where else did the veneration of cows come from? That already excludes the possibility of eurasians because they were not pastoralists
@CrowdPleeza
@CrowdPleeza Год назад
@@NoRockinMansLand What does that mean that Egyptian culture came from the "south"? Where in the south? When the ancient Egyptians talk about their civilization starting in the south they are likely referring to the southern Egyptian city of Hierakonpolis. That city seems to be the starting point for Egyptian civilization. "Part of a cemetery complex that predates the formation of the ancient Egyptian state, the find is one of the richest "predynastic" burials archaeologists have ever seen. The tomb, at the site known as Hierakonpolis, yielded 54 objects..." Source: Artifact Trove at Egyptian Tomb Illuminates Life Before Pharaohs National Geographic

@@CrowdPleeza no when I say south I'm referring to Sudan. The culture of the Naqada culture was influenced by that of Ta Seti. The ancient Egyptian symbolism is seen in few cases of ancient Ta Setian artefacts that date to well before ancient Egypt's inception. You should watch more of this channel, it speaks on this too

I would also like to talk about the Namoratunga archeological site found the Turkana region of north-eastern Kenya. Originally it was believed to have been constructed around 300BC (back in the 70s) but more recent dating has shown it to have been constructed as early as 4000BC making it one of the oldest sites in eastern Africa in general. The archeologist who first found it believed it to be an archeoastronomical site and this shouldn't be taken lightly because many Cushitic ethnic groups in southern Ethiopia such as the Oromo have ancient calenders that were developed independently (like those at Nabta Playa) and the people possess very detailed and ancient knowledge of astrology and even have a tradition naming their kids based on astrology too. But they also descend from the land of Punt (modern day Somaliland) as do most other eastern Cushitic people so maybe the knowledge of astrology spread along with the introduction of livestock domestication? Who knows, but it's very fascinating nevertheless Sources: www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1179/009346911X12991472411088
