I went with my dad and brother and did nothing but try and reenact the final battle with my toys when I got home from the movies. This was the first movie I was ever hyped about to go see beforehand, as well as the first movie I ever went to the movies to see period. I was 9 years old for reference.

Stark or a person who made the decision was mainly thinking about securing hostile alien's tech, not whether or not NYC contractors bought some new trucks. I can easily imagine myself doing the same mistake, not that it's not a super shitty move that eventually costs a lot down the line.

thanos wasn’t originally planned. hell the space stone and tesseract weren’t originally gonna be stones. they only got retconned later on because james gunn introduced the idea of stones. which only opened up the plot hole as to why thanos gave loki the mind stone. i think joss just wanted a emperor palpatine-like villain to be the post credits teaser and chose thanos. then when james gunn introduced infinity stones, everything just fell into place.

In the comics exist the mini series "Marvels" by Alex Ross and Kurt Busiek, that is about exactly that: the impact of superheroes in the world from the perspective of a civilian.

It will be better to make it after phase 4 is complete.

Sadly, but you are 100% right, Marvel didn't know how to do the return of the banished people. Like, come on returning to the same point where they vanished? What about the people that were on a train, or a plane, or a boat, or in a medical surgery? These people appeared and immediately died again? I fucking hate Wandavision and Spiderman FFH for that shit of people appearing at the same spot where they were banished, like come on many people died doing that. I heard that the producers and writers said something like that banished people appeared in a safe place, but that was a lie. Also how they made that Steve Rogers never cared about Sam Wilson´s family, I'm pretty sure that Steve would know that Sam had a family that would need help if Sam was gone. That was some bullshit that damaged Steve Rogers's character. And finally how Secret Invasion annihilated Nick Fury's character as a whole.

@@Natta44 The only reason Fury agreed to give the Tesseract to Thor is because it came to Earth from Asgard. At least that's how I saw it.

@@loganbigmo We are talking about the sceptor which can mind control people. Leaving it on earth was a disaster waiting to happen. Tesseract belonged to Asgard, but Sceptor did too as it was Lokis and he was their prisoner.

Actually, it's debatable as to if the TV shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D are canon or not. What with Kevin Feigie giving a vague statement about how the Disney+ TV Shows are the "first" TV shows that are canon to the MCU. Not to mention, the films (until Spider-Man No Way Home and Daredevil) don't mention the events of the TV Shows. Again, it's debatable at this point.

It’s something I like to call a loose canon, many of the major elements from the show are canon but if the mcu wants to retcon anything from the show they can and will so don’t bite your tongues on anything incredibly crazy that happened in the series because we truly don’t know

@@jasperwgreen5693 If we're getting a split off Loki series with an alternate timeline Loki being in the current MCU, it's safe to safe that the alternate timeline where tony had the system failure is the dominate timeline of the present MCU...what I'm trying to say is, after the fact they still got shawarma after.

@@moriontax Loki (the show) isn't taking place in the main timeline tho, no where have they suggested that. All tho the show is about Loki joining a timeline correcting agency that goes after anybody/anything that disrupts any timelines. So along with that and the Multiverse getting added, we probably will see that alternate Loki back in the main timeline at points.

Even in the original timeline captain america must have already known he wouldn't stand a chance against loki in a one on one fight. Lokis an asguardian, to say he's much stronger would be an understatement. Earlier in the film he beat him when he was literally trying to lose

I don't find it out of the realm to joke during an aftermath. How many soldiers drink and joke during a moment of peace after a battle? In any war. I wouldn't be surprised if people joked during the clean up and aftermath of 9-11. Not to make fun of, but to cope, to smile, laugh, try to keep some lightness in midst of such a heavy event. It's just how some cope and to help others cope. To hold together and possibly hold others together. Even a quick smile or laugh can help people get through and keep going. Do you want everyone to be silent, stoic and long faced serious?

You know how the Project Insight helicarriers had Stark arc reactor tech, right? I suspect that Tony made a deal with Pierce: The Avengers would hand over the tesseract to the Asgardians, in return, Stark Industries would contribute to all of SHIELD's future projects, one of them being Project Insight.

I would say Nick Fury, since Fury tells the Council at the end that he let Thor take the Tesseract.
