Love it. Retirement can be freedom to some. They receive pensions, have free time, can try different things every day without worrying. What a lifestyle!

Here in my country, the Philippines, another thing that keeps retirees busy is taking care of their grandchildren. Having had experienced being cared & assisted by my grandparents growing up, I can easily understand now why they say it makes them feel young when they're with youngsters. I'm not yet a grandparent. But I have my nieces. Apparently, the said feeling seems real.
