I had 2 of the Bdc2-12-d4 They had the AP on center of dustcaps,, they got Busy in a custom enclosure I made tuned to 34hz.. this series looks like it’ll do much more ! Awesome video Parker! Stay blessed and BASS ON my brotha 🫡👍🏽💯
How do you know what the box was tuned to? I have been unable to find the VAS for these subs. I see now in the video, they have the full Thiele Small parameters in the box, just NOT on their website and NOT on amazon. I was trying to model these in Winisd before I ended up ordering (2) 18" Stereo Integrity HT-18V3s. This is for Home Theater.
Awesome vid, Parker! I have the 4 stack, need to add this 5 stack to the collection. I used to do a lot of business w Big Jeff but his customer Svc and shipping depts lost my business for good. Will get elsewhere.
Audiopipe stepped up their game with that sub. Not a bad looking sub and it seems to be priced right imo. Great video as always Brody Jenkins. Take care and bass on
Love Audiopipe subs for the price! However, I'm curious about their taller and taller motor design. While a taller motor allows for more coil movement (Xmax) if the suspension permited, the 20mm Xmax on these Audiopipe subs seems low compared to the oversized surround and to their motor height. For example, the Sundown SA 12 has a smaller surround but similar Xmax (19mm)with a larger cone resulting in more cone area. Maybe a wider motor could provide more motor force instead of just height. It's possible Audiopipe prioritizes other factors, Regardless, they're still solid subs for the price. It just seems like they might be following the idea that "bigger is better" without fully utilizing the potential.
It's not bad due to the fact that it's performing quite well in a box not designed for it. They handled those tune burst quite well....they are worth looking into testing as specified by the manufacturer and seeing what its true potential is in a real world experience. Thanks for sharing Parker, great job
Audiopipe recommends 2 to 3 cu. ft. ported, per 12". Parkers ported enclosure is 2.5, or 2.7 cu.ft., so almost perfectly in the middle of Audiopipes specs. Port area, and tunning are right there as well. Parkers suv is huge, a 141.4 Db, on 2,700 watts, @ 35Hz, for a single 12" is very good.
Thanks for the video. Just about to do a build. The guy was wanting 1 audiopipe 12. Now I know it should do well for him. 👍 and when are we gonna see your new build??
Hey Parker. Audiopipe just came out with a new Competition subwoofer that has a 375 oz magnet. ttx-bdx-12d2 Would love to see you put that baby to the test.
@@girthquake9655 yeah dude really needs to get a logo or emblem or something and take his face and name off of everything he looks like one of those rappers from the 90's dancing and singing wanting to be in every video Jesus your already making the money off the product that isn't good enough you have to have your face on everything maybe he'll wake up and realize that nobody wants a product with his face and name all over it something like that can completely destroy the theme of a build you got all this nice equipment and then big Jeff's face WTF 😒
I will always run audio pipe…. I have a single ten in my extended cab truck bought new in 97 I believe …. Rattles my truck and thumps like a beast w low smooth bass
Parker why are you running copper clad aluminum? I seen the letters on the red wire. It was going to the black amp and the taramps looks like it’s running some Cca also
Cca wire inside the vehicle isn’t gonna hurt nothing. Cca wire gets corrosion if it’s outside the vehicle. I been running Cca 2/0 sky high and never had a problem. Just gotta heat shrink it good
Nice sub , for me personally, the best value sub is the Ice power 812 rated at 4000w RMS , going for like $300 , It'd be cool to soon see a review on that
@ParkerTheBasshead been following your channel for years. Love the content. Just curious, are you still running the headway lithium banks? Have you had any issues with them charging from your alternator?
Been watching you for months. Just realized I wasn't subbed. New sub here. I wanted to ask you a question. Do you break these speakers in before you run your tests? Or you test them all brand new out of the box?
I had 2 of the first txx series 15's. The txx-bd15. Beat the crap outta them for 4 years and finally the spiders ripped off the cones. Can't complain considering I paid $280 for the pair.
Haven't watched a video since you started pushing fat Jeff. I only clicked because i didn't see the channel name but wanted to check out this sub. I'm already watching but I'll be paying more attention in the future. Good luck on your endeavors parker.
Hey Parker think u could do some videos and reviews on some shallow mount subs? All your videos are these big competition monsters where people have room. Any shallow reviews??
Audiopipe has always had a place for me, my first real subs was extreme Walmart subs then i went to the old eye candy's with the big surround and it was beast. Since then ive owned the bcd 18s and sounded good but i went to scar dnr and yeah buddy only good sub skar makes. Then sundown and got windy but i enjoy hard musical bass not low windy so now i need these in 15s
Parker I would love to see subs and amps from (Hannibal) series lineup, from Def Bonce. There's not much videos out. Looks pretty affordable am sure lots of ppl would like to see how good it is as well. Thanks
Audiopipe had some candy blue and candy red Subs maybe they were DS 12 always kind of liked the look don't know if there are any good or not but it's never good to purchase alone based on fancy colors😊
so had the audiopipe 4 stacks for a bit now almost 2 years, upgraded this year to the taramps smart bass 5k and well smoked one of em so looking for a upgrade or equivilant.. i know the bdc4 handled my 5k rather nice
Did this sub bottom out early or was that just like cone separation from the amp clipping? It sounded like when you were doing the DB test it bottomed out hard, and, when you played Eminem shotgun at the beginning, it bottomed out bad.
Could you review Diablo DB-12XL D2 12" 6500W Peak Dual 2-Ohms Voice Coil DVC Car Audio Subwoofer I just thought I’d be cool to see it pushed to see if it’s garbage or not.
Two of those scar 15s and a smart 3 or smart 5K taramps and you're in business❤😊 got to wait for those Black Friday yearly sales and a couple times a year Amazon does some stuff too
God i hate meter in the kick, do people ride around with their head in the floorboards? Do it at the headrest. Yea i know, so and so measures theirs there and thats where the comps measure or whatever, well its stupid. Its not real world data. It's inflated numbers, like some channels that dyno amps at over 15v when they want to inflate the numbers just because they sponsor their channel.
@@troshaffer4921 not really, he’s stating facts and what everyone who actually cares is thinking. This isn’t the way to do it, this isn’t a SPL contest either 99.9% of his viewers are daily drivers
I can remember a time when 1/2” peak to peak travel was really good. It is amazing at the technological advances that have been made and how loud a single sub can get.
@@91CavGT5 Yeah. I have some subs I purchased 20 years ago(M.A. Audio) that were really nice subs back in the day. But now they are relatively basic in terms of performance. Still bump though. But then again, they sat in the original shipping package for 20 years until I finally used them for the LFE channel in my computer rooms 5.1.2 Atmos setup.
I really do like how easy they made the wiring to 1ohm. I just bought 2 Rockville Audio, Punisher 1ohm 10" subs they're 37.5 lbs ea with a 1250 rms they hit the deep 12s, with that fast bass you expect from 10s. At $150 each, they're amazing. Another one to potentially check out.
I just blew my single BDC4. Should I get this one or something else? I’m looking for decent SQ. Looking at similarly priced Skar, Sundown, etc…. Thanks !!
I gotta build a new box. The question is what sub to run. STU 12 or DC AUDIO XL 15. or Wolfram HG 15 or sundown X-12 v1 I have all 4 of them. Which should I choose. (Voltage isn't an issue)
Audio pipe just came out with another new subwoofer the BDX series please tell me you're getting it and reviewing it I purchased one already waiting for it to come in but I would love to see the review
Hey Parker I have a soundqubed hdx3 12 the surround came unglued what do you recommend to reglue it ? I’m so lost and losing my mind without my bass !!!
