There will be negative things said about the 589, it won't be as well liked as it's ancestors, 359, 379, 389, it's better than not having a classic styled truck at all.
@@fishlips8336 that your opinion. 99 percent of people can’t tell the difference between the 389 or 589. The once who can, well they should be keeping their eyes on the road and not focusing so hard on others trucks.
Not even close to a 389 look, may as well buy a plastic truck. I feel bad for the newer drivers out here because this ain’t trucking. They have taken all the fun out of it.
@@Robert-bt8cp The 1 piece wind shield is not my Fav either!!!! I prefer the 2 piece as well bcos of the cost!!!!! Been licensed since '93. 4th gen Trucker here. I was nearly born in the Trk. My DAD drove my Mom 2 hospital in the truck when she went into labor. Our Fam is now in 5th generation of TRUCKIN here in TEXAS!!!!😎🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🇨🇱
What's new there? a few small things otherwise it looks like the old one, something like that is called a facelift. If you would docv the Vormen end like 2024 Volvo (which I don't like) but it's new but here, no, the few little things that don't make a new 589 what do you think???
Scotty, the one piece windshield let’s eat toooo much sun in and looks like an old plain FLD. I hope your for sake this truck sells, I want everyone to succeed if they work for it. Do you have any new 389’s for sale?
Yeah have to admit PACCAR did a good job with styling by Gooberment Motors, sorry don't care for the dash, switches are pointed away from the driver, I'm retired so my opinion doesn't count it is what it is..........................time goes by but things stay the same, don't let the government touch anything.
I completely agree. The newer drivers may like it, not sure why. The hood is much too short and they’ve crammed too many things together. Kinda looks like gut surgery gone wrong here. The good news is we still have the W9, when they pull that off line many good drivers will hang it up for good.
Good Evening, This is a real tragedy to be honest with you. I’ve been licensed since 96’ and I’m still driving now, my bet is this will be a huge flop for Paccar. The analogy I’ll use would certainly be much different than yours. You say often throughout the video “nice addition, like a 579 or 567.” Why on earth would someone want the truck? If you want a plastic truck without a hood go buy one, the shorter hood looks like cloning gone wrong; or the engineers work in a state where smoking a phat one is legal. They are running good guy/gals right out the business. Take a closer look at the hood, doesn’t it remind you of cousin Billy Bob cut off truck bed on a pinto mobile, just sayyyin folks. Imagine paying 200k for this, WOW.
Was looking at the video from the start until you showed me the dash, what a horrible looking dash it's like looking at a TV screen, i rather have the full gauges, what junk they created,, on one of the best looking peterbilts thry had.
