I'm 42. When I was 16 I ordered a set of 295/50/15's for my 1978 Ford explorer ranger f100 that had 1 yellow stripe of tread for laying it down and being unique! Everyone knew those were my burnouts! Almost got me a ticket..almost!

@@CasperBritto not rlly, depending on how bad the gasket got deleted you can have thick blue or even grayish smoke especially when the engine is literally giving its last few minutes of life. Seen it a shit ton at scrap yards and vehicle auctions and whatnot
The blue smoke was from the tires, I didn't see anything coming from the engine bay area, I'm just saying because the videos about blue tires and he literally said they spin blue smoke

Rubber is actually white, but they're dyed to make a black tire. I wish you can get them in any color you'd want. I want red ones with black groove lines.

@@Beugatti The colored smoke isn’t what made me interested it was the idea of being able to color match tires to the paint for all I care they could burn normal and still be colored and be a good fit for people who simply enjoy customizing their car. To add to the smoke when it was first developed it caused major health issues which is why it never stuck around. Maybe humble yourself a little “Danklord420” and think about other peoples opinions before spilling your 2 cents on a RU-vid comment you might think it’s tacky but your opinion means nothing to someone who actually finds it interesting. I hate to go on but since you called them “tyres” and not Tires I’m going to assume you’re not from the US where the car culture is huge also and very free of choice. A couple years after I got my license a friend got tires with a center yellow stripe. At the time it was probably 2001 or 2002, but he said they did "yellow burnouts" but I never saw him do one... Just like a "hellcat charger" who never opens his hood, he never did burnouts while all of us did... I never believed it because it just looked like a regular tire (I think they were Michelins) with a colored stripe down the center (no it wasn't painted) so it would have had to be a crazy burnout to make colored smoke, if they could do it. That brought back memories.
@@snapdragogon69Kumho made them. They gave away a set of red color tires at a local import event in 2005. I said the guy that won them should have sold them as, at the time, they were unavailable to purchase.
@GRAITOM maybe on ebay or some shit, but you'd have to mount them yourself. I don't think any tire shop would mount a tire that old, if there's any left. I'd bet they're all dry rotted and cracked and shit.
This is the first time I've seen a RU-vid shorts video without some weird shit in it and people pointing out the things that went right. That should be a mark on the good job you have done Toyo. Whoever contributed to this, deserves any form of promotion possible. They are genius
