"Precision bombing raids"? Uh, no. Repeated carpet bombing -- but in the style of one of those Armenian homes where they have mats on top of rugs on top of carpets... over carpet liners. A line I remember from one of the books on D-Day: "...a sea full of ships. And anyone who looked out on it was dead by noon." At 5:15 "Last German offensive in the west"??? Um, could somebody maybe tell these folks about the Battle of the Bulge?
Notice at 6:27 a British Cromwell comes into view for just a moment. It is wearing a British experimental type of rubber mat similar to the German Zimmerit. I know it is experimental because it was only tried for a short while according to either the Honeycutt book The British Churchill Tank owners' guide or perhaps Mr. Churchill;s tank, the Churchill. Both have excellent stories and information about experimental tanks and one has the story of the rubber mat anti magnetic mine coating.
this is the most propagandish title of the vid ever , germans werent annihilated infact they killed so many troops that they just had to add more to the bunch , hitlers main army was fighting in soviet area thats why normandy was easy
@@superted6960 The British and Canadians were held up at caen for 4 weeks by 17 year olds while having complete air superiority and numbers. While Germanys 200 divisions were fighting the soviets. If those 200 divisions were in Normandy the allies would of been pushed back into the sea.
