Couldn't find solid dates, however the season 2 casting call was announced on the Season 1 reunion in March 09 so it's safe to say it filmed some time between probably April 09 and August 09 since it premiered August 30th. This makes sense with Trina chiming in that Stew had been out of work nearly a year. So pretty safe to say he got that assault charge before starting the show. The real question is, did he assault Sarah?

As an interesting fact: my eyesight has gotten better as I've aged. I've worn glasses since I was 8 years old and I'm 56 now. A few months ago, I had an eye exam and asked my eye doctor if by age 100 I'd have perfect eye sight and he said, " Yes, but you'll be dead." He's a little brutal.

i think that particular personality type blossoms from a really specific kind of upbringing, where youre sensitive enough that having shitty parents and bullies really gets to you, but not quite emotionally capable enough to dig yourself out of the hole that creates. the charisma and charm are there, but so is the emotional disregulation. classic "jokes to cope" type dude who, as soon as a button is pushed, is instantly overwhelmed. i feel like these types of guys have potential, if they can channel effort into introspection and being better. until they do, though, theyll never get away from how someone calling them stupid takes them right back to being 7 and their dad telling them the same thing. except now theyre grown enough to start punching holes in walls and screaming.

There’s a few more seasons, I will be sad when Gunner exhausts that. I think a season 1 rewatch would make sense though

Aw, that's a really sweet ending for John. Out of all the douchey homunculi on this show, he seemed the most like a real person, warts and all, especially during the mirror challenge. I get the feeling that he's not a bad dude, and more than being unwilling to change he's just really emotionally unintelligent, and it took being confronted directly like this show does to realize how far gone he was.

I hope he got therapy and worked on his own issues. I'm low key he didn't murder someone in a fit of rage.
