So........a lot of different places have a lot of different style of pizza and usually known for a particular type. Altoona has just that and it's something else! This is a short taste and review from one of the local spots! Dig In!! #pizza #foodreview #cheese

My Father used to make home baked pizza like this. I never cared for it.

I am 49, live in altoona, have always lived here. Never had Altoona hotel pizza, Not even jack and georges take.

Michaels hands down has the closest to the original Altoona Hotel Pizza an Altoona resident that worked 2 years at the Atloona Hotel

Took a while to sink in, but Jack & Georges is on 4th Avenue not 4th Street, Michaels listed below is on 4th Street

I made 5/6 videos while I was in Altoona. Just minor problems. Leap the dips not open, one of the pizza shops not open. Rain etc lol. Just life throwing down lol

Sorry Jim, but NOPE! Grew up with my grandma making pizza at St Anthony's in Brier Hill every week. The gold standard for pizza! That Altoona stuff looked like something made by the Simpsons. In fact it's the same color as the Simpsons!

well, here is my take to that comment.....it definitely is not a joke (the pizza has been around for years, so if it wasn't anything it wouldn't be something) now the second thing is... even if it wasn't popular, I have a channel that I show people different content of, this was content. that's like saying Youngstown Brier Hill style is a joke.... because you never heard of it or had it... but thanks for commenting and watching, I appreciate it!
