Impressive that all this is covered in just over half an hour. You must’ve set yourself a record in that half an hour. 😅 Also, I didn’t actually notice that the iceberg went *that* far in terms of how much people take advantage of TADC. Almost makes me pity the show and the people behind it as much as look up to it.

Well I just watched the playlist thus far, two episodes, four videos. And I wanted to drop my theory somewhere! What is the Digital Circus? A VR Game, yeah, just that. What was the Digital Circus originally? A 90's web browser game, not unlike NeoPets or many of those educative games. What happened? Time passed, player numbers dwindled and the once popular game had moved on to upgrade their once popular franchise into newer technologies, they were too ambitious and didn't have the budget to finish it! In fact I'm led to believe they had rushed their work focusing on the technology rather than the game itself, using assets from the original 90s web browser game which poorly transitioned into the newer engine. What I mean is, originally the game had a Bird's eye view perspective that one would see on the monitor all those icons and menus, more importantly even in full screen there would be a green exit door icon to close the game. However, now imagine that it went to 3D with a greater scale than a screen but also has a first person view? Finding this Green Exit door is largely near impossible, not without no-clip just as Caine showed Pomni the door by accident in the tour. So there s a way out, and it's the GREEN door. Was the GREEN door real? Yes, Caine clearly got worried when Pomni mentioned it, plus the other door if I recall correctly was RED and Caine admitted to have rushed making it thus leading into the void. Those two doors not only are cleverly in different places, one hidden in the green fields and another just where Pomni could easily find it and be thought insane by the others and herself. Plus in a game design perspective, all exit door icons usually happen to be green, not red, a green door was added by the developers. Why Cain doesn't want players to leave? He does not want to be alone, why? Probably because the game never made it into market as the company most likely ran out of funds mid development and Caine only interacted with developers and testers which then left the server running, leaving him alone in the dark until people began showing up, likely by finding the "weird VR set" Pomni mentioned in some abandoned warehouse or something equally sensible but dumb, not unlike finding an E.T game in the dessert. Caine originally was merely the mascot for the 90s version of the game and probably only has admin rights at best, he was never meant to do anything but guide the player and moderate (No Cursing allowed.) By giving brief dialog bubbles with information of each mini game or area, mostly the controls too but once the scale of the game turned VR he was given an AI and certain privileges but not the whole story about the game, Caine keeping players inside the game was not intended and if the game wasn't abandoned by it's developers well, they'd be kicked out by now, all the players. Even the most dedicated players of any MMO would not stand years of play time in a row, this leads to abstraction, y'know those players who reach the limit of their sanity and break down. A hard limit that was unforeseen as most people again, would have logged out much before that. Why the monster transformation? The mind is a huge thing that we know some things about but not everything, their current broken mental state is like a null value into the game which causes them to glitch and transmit that Glitch as the system struggles to make sense of it, there is probably a way to reverse it maybe involving finding out about that players real life or by making a connection to their minds and pulling them out of it to a state in which the system, or Cain can fix their models. Lastly, made it to this wall? This story resembles that other story with I.M, and maybe the same final result in which one will stay behind putting the rest out of their misery much to Cain's displeasure.

These stupid content farms are only ruining the show. I like the digital circus but my brother hates it because he thinks it’s cringe. It’s probably because he saw the stupid content farms before watching the original.
