I work for a pest control company for mosquitos and ticks. I've been telling everyone to watch your DIY version of that trap and they loved it
@trevgauntletneu_gaming
For a second, I thought the Wasper Blaster was some kind of explosive trap.
@wadehiggins1114
Shawn is such a dedicated man, he sat there and counted all 142 yellow jackets. 😅
@IowaKim
For paper wasps, we started using a super soaker with dish soap in it instead of that expensive, nasty wasp spray. The range is remarkable and gets up in the high points of the barn peak.
@ReefMimic
The Amazon reviews are horrible
@ChrisisisB
Really bad name. When I search for this I get thousands upon thousands of ”water blaster” results.
@daves.9479
Wildly overpriced, but a good trap. We used the DIY approach in the early 1960s: a bucket filled w/ water to about 1.5" below the top and a 2x4 across the top with a strip of raw bacon thumb-tacked to its underside. Worked like a charm.
@Shawn666Hellion
I wouldn't be grabbing the dead wasps,got stung that way one time
@ikarouyt
I loved your original trap, but don't have the time or tools to make it. I will make sure to buy this from your link! Thank you!
@sigheyeroll
I remember your original trap, it was amazing! This one really is a smaller, pre-made version. It's a good option for people who don't have the time or tools to make one.
@WayneTheSeine
Yellow jackets are the spawn of hell. They are so aggressive, relentless and sting over and over.
@jonanderson5137
I'd use old salmon or skin over a 5 gallon bucket with dish soap.
@abundantcat7448
Use jet dry!!! It doesn’t make bubbles and it breaks the surface tension of the water!! It’s used by gold panners
@TheLingrush
Finally!!! RU-vid listened in on a conversation and suggested a GREAT video!!!
@scoldingmeeself2016
Your traps always got my vote...AND THIS DEFINITELY GOT MY VOTE!!!
@XxMichx

I used glass cans fiiled with water and something sweet (berry juice etc.). Tied several of those to apple trees at our dacha and left them for a week. Each one of them was full of dead insects. Wasps weren't the only ones caught in the crossfire.
@jimmyfortrue3741
I thought the design of your original video was the best wasp trap ever... Now an easy version to buy.... Great job!
@mulepowerforge
Seeing the wasps take off with the tuna reminded me of one time when we went to BC and the hotel had an outdoor dining area, we had breakfast there and a wasp came and grabbed some egg and flew off with it. Pretty funny cause the egg was almost twice the size of the wasp.
