My uncle actually built a statue for john berry in Annapolis maryland at the naval academy. He funded it because Barry was a Irish american immigrant that served our nation and so is my uncle.

You know, that I've got like a tear in my eye when I finally saw the United Provinces roaming about?. Because this game, is probably the only historic game were the Provinces are in. They made history as well you know, like big time for some countries( Like Brittain and USA for sure).

I don't remember Empire having Canon in their music list, nor what sounds like the music from Mount and Blade Warband either (right around minute 22). Great stuff whether you did or not! I feel really weird commenting on a video almost three years old, but whatever. I'm not sure if you know this information or not, but you seemed somewhat confused that the leader of the US was listed as Elias Boudinot rather than George Washington, but the common misconception is that George Washington was the "leader" of America, which just wasn't the case. The United States abhorred the idea of somebody having absolute power, so to avoid that, the Continental Congress was created as a collection of delegates from across the colonies to create and enforce laws, while the president was to act as somewhat of an intermediary to balance out the power given to congress, this relationship mirrored the Americans' idealized version of what the Crown and Parliament should behave as. And from the years of 1881-1883 Elias Boudinot was the President of the Continental Congress, the true ruling body of the young nation.

TheBlackBrickStudios well ya but the president has always been the figurehead of the US. Effectively Washington was the closest thing the US has to a leader when it was formed.

You can do play battle (custom battle, you can play as many factions) Campaign (you can be Britain, Russia, Prussia, etc.
