I love both old school and new wave metal but I can't get my head round the old school 'fuck any new shit' mentality. You're not even giving these bands a chance, yeah megadeth, metallica, pantera, sabbath etc. are great but most of them are coming to the end of their careers, just give new wave a chance, I did and I'm fucking glad I did
