I doubt he was ever a hero to begin with. You don’t just become a tyrant. You are pretty much born with that. If you want to see someone’s true character give them power and then give them an adversary and you’ll quickly see who they are.

It's great, the Destruction on the Fury Road, cars/trucks/bikes built with style and usefulness. The new War Rig 2.0 (by Mad Max lore the FIRST War Rig, but 2nd in movies) based on Kenworth W900. Shows great backstory of Furiosa and why she wanted to get Dementus in her HAND (he killed her mother, made her lose the only map to Green Place with her forearm and killed Furiosa's love interest Praetorian Jack). CGI looked almost invisible and wasn't overused
Can't help but feel like Joe is a reasonable man in an unreasonable world, most of the evil that he is responsible for seems to come from necessity rather than out right sadism, and Miller even said himself, that todays tyrant is yesterday's hero
@@tkaki6029 he doesn't really treat them as currency, but he definitely treats them like objects. That said, yeah, in a world like mad max they can't really afford the luxury of any other governing system. He's basically just holding shit together so there's not much room to afford empathy.
