Hey cut God some slack. You try releasing a Universe Software perfectly with only 300,000,000 years of tweaking before you release it to the public. As soon as one thing is fixed, something else breaks. The 20.18 patch fixed Economy, but now Culture is broken..... At least we're close to the next patch.

A similar but less paranormal story about Mons was that the professional British soldiers were so accurate with their rifles that the Germans believed they were taking machine gun fire when they were not. This might be in part the source of the legend that the British were able to retreat due to a miracle when it was actually because they were well trained marksman.

My great grandfather was at the battle of the Mons for Germany (Don't judge lol) I used his journal to learn German. He definitely wrote about the German infantry were in mass panic during and after the battle. Nothing about ghosts or bowmen, but he fled with some others and became a deserter after that battle.

Don't know about this WWI event, but the stories of angels helping Israeli soldiers during the six day war are intriguing as many witnesses are still alive. I look forward to asking God about it on the other side.

Towards the end of the war, in 1918, there surfaced stories of "The Goddess of Veld" who appeared on the Allied side of the trenches just outside of Veld, Belgium. It was said a woman dressed in what appeared to be ancient Grecian armor, wielding a sword and shield, leapt up from the trenches into No Man's Land. While every German gun and artillery piece was trained on her she remained unscathed. Accounts from both the Allied and German sides report of rifle and machine gun bullets and shrapnel bouncing off her shield and armor. She managed to draw enough German fire to enable British troops to go "over the top" and storm the German trenches. Even more eerily, there are accounts by civilians in Veld who describe the same woman driving off occupying German troops from the town.

On the italian front, there were a lot of legends about vampires, fairies hobgoblins and nymphs between the ranks of the italian army. These old supertitions would often mix with the deep catholic faith of the soldiers who sweared to have seen or heard a lot of these monster and saints hunting or helping them. These reports were often disregarded as hallucinations caused by the harsh winter weather.

Great video on a forgotten episode of the war. I have heard various versions of this story, mainly that it was the Virgin Mary herself that appeared over the British lines and saved them from destruction. Also heard that it was numerous angels that appeared and attacked the Germans. Must admit, not quite sure if I ever remember learning about the English Bowman. Also, in the National WW1 Museum in Kansas City, MO, there really is no mention of the Angels of Mons, and I've searched on numerous visits.

My final duty was at SHAPE at Belgium. The book "Angels of Mons" also speaks of Belgian and French troops seeing Jean of Arc and her French troops. The whole story is chalked up to urban legend. I was stationed at Chievres Airbase

if anyone is interested, theres a 3 episode show called "our world war" that shows the battle of mons. im not sure how accurate it is, but its done pretty well and they do have ww1 vets talking at the end of each episode. only the first one is the battle of mons though, the other 2 are two different stories during the war.

Simmilar thing happened for Greece in WW2. Countless soldiers have stated that one of the old women with donkeys carrying supplies was vanishing and reappearing all over the Battlefield tending to wounded soldiers or careying supplies

You all should find the true story of st.micheal the archangel directly intervening in the Vietnam war, the soldier who was rescued by him in heavy gunfire wrote the account in a letter to his mother, the letter is read to every graduating class of marines each year, it's amazing

There’s a weird thing about human memory where memories become more distorted the more times they are recalled. What’s more, we are susceptible to suggestion. You can fairly easily convince someone that they did something that they never did and they will make up memories of this fictional event. So after a month and hearing rumors of ghostly bowmen, it’s entirely possible that soldiers remembered there being ghostly bowmen even though they never actually appeared.

To get Angel soilders to spawn in the game you must be the last man standing or have large numbers of your squad wiped and enemy has to be holding the objective. Wait 30secs while crouching in a crater on the map and angels will spawn in to help out.

Wasn’t there reports of hellhounds in the battle of Mons?. If I’m not mistaken I saw a video about it in the channel of Paranormal Junkie The video talks about how soldiers heard multiple hounds in the battle. And that soldiers saw a canine like figure in the battle. Also they discovered bodies of soldiers as if they were killed by something savage

Same thing happened in gallipoli for turks They saw prophet mohammed and his men fighting alongside them and they say once a cloud landed on the attacking anzac force after that they disappeared they saw man in white clothes fighting for them
