I must say, you did a bang-up job turning *MAN'S* adventures from the attempted light-hearted/slightly raunchy comedy it wanted to be, to the absolute horror it really was. And be careful, dear reader... For *MAN* could be anywhere... or anything!

How do you find the most wretched, existentially horrifying anime every time

On tumblr years ago, someone talked about how their classmate wrote this really introspective story about a dying and fusing with a sidewalk, being forced to reflect on his lack of action and regrets as a human.... Ans then they revealed it also has uncomfortably descriptive prose about being stepped on by different types of womens feet. Anyway this is like that to me

they really created one of the most tortured characters possible because they took a regular dude and turned him into various inanimate objects including food that got eaten and had him experience unending helplessness and likely great amounts of pain just within reach of some kids just having fun, as if to heighten his pain by comparing it to their happiness

This anime had to be a tax write off. Even hentai tries to write at least one sentence coherently in their native language

I was already prepared for Moomin Marriage due to a previous engagement. Same goes for the 7 anime used as your examples. But nothing could've prepared me for the Man.

Everyone is talking about the horror of the man being frozen in objects, but personally I'm terrified by the idea that any object in this universe could be a horny man watching you be a lesbian.

I would unironically like a show about a dude reincarnating as some inanimate object that can communicate, or just any kind of weird guy that, instead of creeping on teenage girls, is actually trying to help them with their personal problems. Boosts their confidence, helps them foster relationships, provides emotional support... Bonus points if he remains as Just A Dude with little motive beyond just "I wanna see these young women live their best lives!".

This scebario is horrifying both from the MAN's and the highschool girls' perspective. Noone wins.

4:52 chickens are in fact cannibals. they can also pick all the meat off a mouse really quick if they have mice available. the cannibalism is mostly when they are stressed.

When I heard the description, I thought this was going to be horror. Now, I am aware that this is horror. I am ever so slightly afraid of my surroundings, even knowing I am not in an isekai anime.

I watched an episode of that anime with three friends. two were blindingly drunk, one was not, and I was not, and we all understood it the same amount. in fact, my drunk friends may have had an improved experience with it because they had already given up on trying. please please please, explain what is happening, or at least riff on that anime within an inch of it's life.

I thought this was gonna be about a mimic (the kind that can willingly turn itself into an object and then back into a human form whenever it wants to) stalking a bunch of women (as in, 18+) and the women are aware of their predicament but have no way of knowing which object the mimic is so they have to go into detective mode to figure it out and kill the mimic. I hate to say it, but I’m disappointed we got this instead. Both scenarios are horrifying, but at least my scenario sounds like an interesting thriller with a potential metaphorical/analogous commentary on illegal spy cam crimes, and where hopefully the women would win against the mimic in the end. What we actually got here is just depressing and pathetic. Edit: 15:10 is the closest to what I was thinking

Panda has been planning to ask out Yuri for a while now it seems. i'm glad this show is getting more attention (for being so completely weird). I made my own video on it a few months back, proclaiming it the worst show of 2022 and thinking literally no one else would ever mention it. I guess I should have viewed it as a true horror masterpiece.

This video has a certain unhinged, yet calm energy that makes it really funny to me.

When I watched that one Netflix romcom about the girl who's being forced into dating-sim scenarios by a cold unfeeling Godlike wizard I wished it was going to drop it's veneer at any moment and become a psychological horror, but instead the wizard becomes part of the male harem she's accumulating. Your description of this anime maked me remember that and wish it became horror all over again.
