The fact that the Sentinel beam literally erases its victim's body from physical reality makes it the perfect murder weapon. Gets the job done, easy to use, makes a quick AND clean kill, and it even gets rid of the body linking you to the scene. Sentinel beams are a killer's best friend.
@@lourie054 Halo Infinite's phantom explosion still is terrible, and other vehicle destruction effects too, especially when compared to Halo 3 or Halo Reach.
one thing i thought was funny is technically speaking, a civilian would never be able to hold a skewer as even a spartan has a hard time with it, but you can literally give them to marines, which have zero augmentation and are basically civilians. makes me wonder why i cant give them gravity hammers lol
because the flood was able to corrupt forerunner AI with the logic plague, an information version of the flood that cause them to go rampant. so you would have a monitor or a war AI like mendicant bias leading sentinels against the flood but then some flood infected started saying some funny words, and now the AI start shooting each other.
I take it that someone at 343 played the SPv3 mod for Halo CE, and saw how powerful the major sentinel beam was and how it was balanced with a poor battery. Kudos to 343 for taking inspiration from fans.
Had a Razorback with three marines wielding Arcane Sentinel Beams, one with Volatile Skewer, and one with an S7 Sniper or Hydra or Purging Shock Rifle. This combo was nigh unstoppable on Legendary (even against the Myriad Hunters).
I always drive around the world with 4 marines armed with the arcane sentinel because and 1 with the volatile skewer on legendary and it makes it so much easier
I just started playing this game and haven't finished it yet I will have to try this. How did you get the beam to appear in the weapons stash I missed it some how.
I just legit killed most of my AVT Targets on Halo Infinite with that Sentinel BEAM LOL it is OP your right and i did it earlier this morning crazy fun weapon to use amigo
wow so they just make the screen go black when you kill that lego shaped phantom so they dont have to animate an explosion? what lazy development work this game is an insult to the halo franchise
Yeah no judging from the amount of dmg you were taking from direct hits from a phantom turret, you were def playing on easy bro. Don't try to convince me you were playing legendary with a BS jump cut of you at the pause screen
