I can agree with having a not max out level for buildings but I do want them to have the same level. Sadly my right is maxed out. So maxed out it is. #243
I never did much min maxing with the base (way too lazy and even having one operator run out of sanity on the job would make perfect min maxing worthless), but as someone with a math background and theoretical interests, these videos are still entertaining to watch. :P
@@rafituflihzahranalwansyah3601, When I started playing, it was basically right at the start of the global server, so there weren't many materials available on how to play the game, so I had no idea what to do, and the game seemed to suggest that 3-3-3 was a good idea. Some of the efficiency strategies are super insane and counter-intuitive IMO, and the game does nothing to make things clearer for the player.
I jumped into the rabbit hole of calc'ing stage efficiencies a while ago, tried to jump into base efficiencies too but realising how complex it was, especially with the original iceberg and now this explanation... I'm glad I'm not the one doing all the thinking Really interesting video, and all of your other guides and scripts for that matter! Thanks a lot!
Finally I have been looking for a video like this explaining the base. I just followed what the game told me to do and didn't touch it after, I was so clueless. I just found your channel today and I subscribed after binging a few videos. TY
i appreciate the brevity of your guides, it makes them very easy to share/recommend to new players, but i did like that specific skadi the corrupting heart guide and the user's other guides, they could have certainly have made them a bit shorter but i think they are effective at helping conceptualise the unit's impact and use cases.
28:00 I actually do all paradox missions. It's combination of free orundum for leveling units plus the idea of having everyones paradox mission completed. So far I lack 4, because i dont own these 6 star ops. I have everyone else though.
On 7:53 about how operators can increase clue frequency from their respective faction regardless of Reception Base, I almost always get at least one Clue 5 if I put an E0 Breeze and Indra. Pretty neat.
Thanks for always taking the time to calculate all things efficiency. Will you be willing to share your current base and operator rotations? and how much LMD and EXP do you get in a day?
Regarding the Rosmontis and Wshisperian shinenigans. Bold of you to assume I have recruitment plans to run all the time. Even if I had unlimited recruitment plans it's not easy to not get 3/3 refreshes cause irl exists.
I have a 243 setup because I haven't heard about the efficiency issue before it was too late. Now I can't be assed to change it. On one hand I think having a base like this is stupid. On the other hand I like that math nerds can exploit the system to their advantage.
I started the game a bit before purestream came to global, and i actually bought her because of the charity purpose... needless to say she is one of my favorite medics in the game and i actually use her with weedy and waii fu (since i don't have passenger)
Well. That was all very interesting and I understood about 5% of it. I don't even know how I got here tbh. I had a question about something but that's a half hour in the past and completely buried in apathetic laziness now.
I'm kind of surprised you tout Moe so much when his current spreadsheet discourages players from buying recruitment permits and headhunt certificates from the green certificate store. I guess with Neia retired we don't have a better option at the moment. I'm going to have to watch your Fiammetta video to try and understand how the ionization works. I would've assumed that pulling Shamare out mid cycle would reset all of the progress towards increasing the frequency of 2k orders. My testing with Scene showed that any disruption of any kind including just swapping positions totally resets her production bonuses.
Regarding Moe's sheet, it was still a huge step for EN farming math, despite those smaller issues. At the time, no one had looked into overall income rates for recruitment permits, so Moe's sheet says "buy only when needed" in case we actually got more permits than we could spend. That's not the case, but that part of the sheet hasn't been updated. Moe's reasoning on HH permits is more questionable, though. Regarding Fiammetta and ramp-up resets: ramp-up skills don't actually reset if you avoid swapping positions. For example, having Scene in slot 1 while removing an operator in slot 2. (Note that removing someone from slot 1 will automatically move the operator in slot 2 to slot 1 and reset ramp-ups. But in this case you can use a "filler" operator in slot 1.) Since Bibeak's skill overrides Shamare's, taking out Shamare won't reset anything. And while Bibeak will reset when using Fiammetta to refresh her, Shamare will provide a smaller boost until Bibeak ramps back up.
@@PeterYR Haven't had a chance to watch the video yet but I think I understand what to do now. I just need to keep Kafka/Bibeak in slot 1. It seems pretty simple at least. I'm going to go for 300 pulls on Ling so I can try and get Dusk and/or Nian who I am missing still. So hopefully I'll be able to get Fiammetta on her launch banner and not have to wait for a rerun but it will be more based on luck than anything else. Also, 2 notes I have is that if you're planning to E2 all operators no matter what, then E2'ing the base skill operators should have the highest priority. That came to mind for me when you were saying it takes 60 years for their ROI. E2'ing for paradox simulations is a way to add fun content to the game, not just for orundums. Just something to consider for the next glacier video I guess.
Have you ever thought about making a video explaining stuff like wordly plight and rosmontis' stuff? I have a small brain and even tho I have all my ops at E2, I have no clue what those really do so I don't mess with them
Too bad its gone now, but the 61 year RoI of E2ing Texas was, ofc, eased by E2ing Texalter, which returned around 60% of Texas's mats. I did almost all the alter rebates before that system was scrapped and damned if I'm not glad. Had to E2 Lappy for fking Stultifera, Exu for funny numbers, so ofc E2ing Texas finally was an easy choice.
No wonder it is still in beta. With how much you guys fiddling with it, just what the actual 'release' base will looks like? A base that have more min-maxing stuff and a lot of space for experimentation. It could even be a game. Oh wait! Arknights Enfield! The base could be still in beta until E2 Bibeak pays off. Waiting for Nine-Colored Deer now.
ngl from what I've seen the help megathread is generally alright tho? Gamepress comments are another thing entirely, alot of them seem to hate thirst, and everything else as well.
To be honest, the megathread had gotten a lot better over time. Go back a year or two and it was a lot worse. Still though, it's inconsistent enough that I would never recommend it to a new player looking for advice.
I really dont understand the min-maxing base All I do on every 7am/7pm UTC+8 are (on a 243 base) - place the almost nearing fatigued 'team' of ops in Dorms -Fiametta + Nine Colored abuse
