15:35- Um…… I know! Lol What I mean is I’ve done it and it does work pretty good! Another thing I just started working on (I haven’t gotten to the point where I’m taking any pictures yet) is putting holes in the ground/floors because some of the troopers I want to add to the diorama are also apart of my armies!?! And I’m not rich!?! Do I can’t really afford to buy 2 or more of everything!!! So I base them with whatever they would be starting on and the base slides right into the opening of the dioramas! And eventually when I’m done with that/those pieces/sections of the diorama then I’m going to number each space (where you would only be able to see it if the mini wasn’t already in it) and that mini! So even if I end up with 100 spots, their all numbered so it will be as easy as just looking at the numbers on the bottom!!!
6:04- Is that the actual name?!? “Plastic card”? I’m really asking! I was hoping that you would have everything or some stuff listed in your description….. but either way, I’d like to check it out!?!
Heh, shame you can't add in a back section, because else you could put that bunker room below it, as part of the lower storage section machinery upkeep space or so. So, where is the Fallout styled Power Armor maintenance garage for Space Marine & Knight power armor? lol, almost can see the grunts doing some heavy modding on some of them, potentially putting back together, one made from various models, that all where wrecked.
Haha for sure, unlikely I’ll add another actual section to this diorama, but I am wanting to make a lot more of these cadian bunker ones with all sorts of different things going on, so maybe they all take place in the same bunker! Love that power armour rack maintenance idea though, I’d love to make a fallout version of that!
I really like this one!!! I hope you don’t mind me leaving so many comments!?! But I was curious about something that you might want to do (if you aren’t already doing it)…….. What do you think about making your diorama sections that you have already made into 1 big diorama?!? Not doing the same thing but on a bigger section!?! I mean figure out a way that you could attach all of them together to make 1 big diorama?!? I have a lot of ideas that you could use to accomplish that! But again, it would be very long! So if you would like to know let me know then?!? And/or let me know where a better place would be to have these conversations?!? I haven’t checked yet, but I could check to see if you have a Instagram account!?! I’m rarely ever on social media anymore! But I could check…….. and if there is 1, I’ll let you know what my screen name is in there!?! Because NO, it’s not the same!
11:59- Yup……… that is definitely far TOO MUCH grime!?! Like I don’t know how you work out how/why you make each piece the ways you do?!? But with me personally, I like to tell a story with each piece/section! Like I agree that you definitely should have put it “almost” all over the floor! Because that shows that 10s of millions of soldiers have marched in there from the battlefields for more equipment and no one is hiring to do the cleaning! Lol but 1) I would have tried to stick the thickest parts of the grime to the main part that all of the soldiers would need to take to get there stuff! And the rest of the areas I would have done maybe a few grime footprint trails! And that would show not many people walk right there…… but once in awhile someone does! 2) I wouldn’t have put it all over the walls, because now it takes away what we thought of why the floors look like they do!?! Unless you have zero thought going through your brain and you actually think people walk all over the walls also?!? But for everyone anyone would touch or lean against I would have added it!?! And maybe a little bit on the weapons……. But they would have at least “tried” to whip off all the crud before hanging them back up for the next customer that wants it!?! So if I added any to it, I would only in the areas of the weapons that would have been harder to get to do a quick clean job! And 3) I would have at least added a bit of blood! Maybe in a way that it looks like blood was on 1 of the guys boots and he tracked it in!?! Or someone had a wound but they were like “shut up! It’s just a scratch! But I do need more bullets/magazines so I can get back to it”!?! But again, I definitely wouldn’t over do it! Because then it just looks like it’s apart of the floor and wall color scheme!?! Sorry this was long! But also I hope you don’t take any of this as me judging your work in a negative way?!? I really like your work (from what I’ve seen so far) and I can’t wait to see more! I just want to give you a few ideas that maybe you could use!?! And since you definitely have more skill in this then I do, you could make it look as good as it does when I picture it in my head!!! Edit: (12:43) I guess you got a lot of it off the walls and blended in the rest perfectly! 1 of the things I like to try to do with the walls (I mean besides what I already said lol) is when it comes to metal walls, I like to make it look like they had someone paint them to cover up the metal look…. But also to make the soldiers more docile (if you don’t know what I’m talking about Or just don’t get it, that’s why aircraft carriers and subs are paint dull colors! Because brighter colors heighten the brain activity in both a positive and negative ways! But also very dark colors just put people’s brain in more of a negative state of mind! They also do it for prisons and schools! So it’s not just military! And it’s not just “my opinion”)! But then have paint peeling off (and if you don’t have your own technique to do that then let me know?!? It’s a bit long to write and this is already beyond the length I wanted it to be) and spots where there’s no paint left!?!
It's a cool build, but is it just me or does this look like the brotherhood of steel armory in fallout 4? Might be because I've just got fallout on the brain, but that's immediatly where my brian went
Very possible that it does, I’ve played that game for like 1,000 hours and I’m replaying it at the moment so there may be some subconscious influence there 😄 thanks for watching!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this 😁 Swapable diorama pieces I think sound like a good thing and away to keep show pieces fresh and different
@@SwampRatMiniatures I was thinking a way you could go is to make pieces magnetic so not only does it make it swap-able but pieces stay in place is little issues of stuff falling off if bumped
