Yes it's the same bit of film each time, Ben Miller driving a car south-west down Weybridge High Street. Just the satnav's script changes each time :-)
@Supermassively Britain's under the Tories, Italy under Berlasconi, Russia under Putin and France under Sarcozy. There's Geert Wilders in Belgium. Looks pretty right wing to me.
seriously? if we got offended about whats said about the nhs because a family member works in it, then half the country would be offended by this sketch
They are saying that if something is wrong but inattributable to a specific person we'll just let it slide. This is the contemporanreous mode of interaction with technology. I'm not sure what the appropriate response would be -- talk back to your satnav? Shout at your newsfeed? Leave? It is a serious question; what do we do if technology appears racist? Take it to court? Take the inventor to court? What if there is no inventor? Hi Ai.
@Supermassively no, Nazism is the dictionary definition of an extreme Right-Wing Idealism. Communism is the dictionary definition of an extreme Left-Wing Political Idealism. The Nazi polacies were a rag-bag of both extreme Right wing and Left wing ideas, but, as they got into power, Right-wing Nationalism and Facism took priority.
@Supermassively Europe isn't overwhelingly left-wing, it's just not as right wing as America, and thank God, Allah, Zanathrustra, Buddha or anyone else you care to name for that! it's not an either or situation, there IS the Centre.
@Supermassively swearing is not going to further your arguement. Also it is people like that are not only destroying the UK, Europe and the US but mankind in general.
@Supermassively you may not be a conspiracy theorist, but you are similar in behaviour. You can never win an arguement with a conspiracy theorist, as when they are confronted with definitive proof that the conspiracies are not real, they simply expand the conspiracy to include the evidence. you defend you points with much gusto, but there is a fatal flaw in your arguement, and that is that Europe is not particularly Left-wing, at the moment.
Not everything has to fit ideas of academics. Original socialism started in industrial revolution when corporations and politicians they paid to keep things that way were making massive profits, while workers were trapped into poverty in dangerous conditions. People fought for a more fair society. Marx copied what they were already doing, but added his own parts. Hitler made his own ideas where only those of certain types benefitted from help with housing, education, employment. There wasn't different classes as everybody who was a certain type was seen as important.
@@barkebaat Thats what most people say, whose only opinions are what a Tory propaganda tabloid told them to think, so we stay USA lspdogs, and our economy stays closely linked with USA banks encouraging people to live in greed and debt. A one word insult without being able to criticise the points. They call people lefty as an insult, when what they're against is in fact USA capitalism, with the way the USA promotes melting pot cultures to the rest of the world, and a USA magazine made a man a woman of the year. While all lefty countries do is promote free health care and affordable university.
The funny thing is, it's all true even more so now, and yet we've gone so far down the road to tyranny, you couldn't say this stuff now, even in satire.
