Say what you want about him but Bush was a strong leader, he'll definitely be remembered for long after his time

He needs to start to add more space around the figures, situate them in space. But for a beginner, he's got something. Mostly what he has is determination, objectivity and the humility to correct until the portrait holds together. It really calls the issue of talent into question. (I've been painting for 45 years and was educated in the art). Amazing for just a few years.

What I took after watching this, was that 5+ years after he left office, Mr Bush still calls many of his contemporaries his "friends"....and I believe it. He seems like a very warm, caring, and friendly person. What I wonder is, after 5 years out of office, can Obama be able to say the same thing?

I must say that I am a man that's very proud of this man, and what he has done for this country, and how his personal beliefs have uplifted many citizens of this nation, not anything like what we are experiencing today. As for as the few that has left negative comments about this good man. All I can say is that you don't know what good is, and by the way you are greatly out numbered by the ones leaving deserving comments.

He seems to enjoy being former President, and getting a bit more credit for the things that he did well as time passes.

I respect President Bush 43's cherishing, loyalty and decency to friends, family members and what he believes in. It just like the similarities as his father President Bush 41 is also very loyal to his friends, families, country and to President Reagan's legacies altogether.

How sad it is that you still attack this man..... I really enjoyed this, we can all learn about diplomacy!!

I've always wanted my portrait painted. I can only imagine how amazing it must feel to have the former POTUS paint your picture.

I always feel Bush families are very patriotic, principled, kind President. I respect both Presidents Bush’s decency toward others for our country America’s greatness of safety, prosperity and unity as well as freedoms, entrepreneurship spirit and equality of opportunities principles. The former Secretary of the State Rice has been the idle for all of us always. Let’s forgive each other this time and unite together again by our generosity forgiveness and kindness nature toward each other’s service and mistakes, move forward quickly together and govern by our country America’s own established laws afterwards together quickly for America’s greatness. All of us will be able to reunite together again and do better things quickly as one future of America’s greatness by America’s principles and patriotism together.

President Bush is a principled as well as heart of the gold person who has tried his very best for America's greatness, even in his precious retired life, he still has done as much as he can for our disabled vets to heal spiritually and physically and cares about African women who suffer from AIDS and cancer. He is just the type of down to earth kind character, I guess. I pray for him and his family healthy and long life. I love President Bush and his family always.

Thank you Mr. President, You may remember visiting some school children visiting Sweetwater,Tx.from Tallinn, Estonia. I had hoped these children from a former Soviet Republic would be blessed by visiting our country. You met them at the school which was more than they (when you were Governor) could have dreamed and they remember you even today. I was blessed to be able to bring them to the USA and you made it even better. Thank You !! I also really enjoyed visiting your Library and Museum the first week it was opened. I have visited a number of Presidential Libraries (including your dad's in College Station) and your's is the most fantastic. Thanks again..

Once I said to a colleague from acquaintance at a tea shop as a joke that bush baby is an intelligent animal of course it is an arboreal animal ( in English ) He told the whole regional towns that I am not moslem and that I like then the President George W.Bush.

I was proud to be an American with a president as caring and wonderful as he was, miss him so much!

I am neither for or against this guy, I am for being charming and diplomatic when needed, and a force to be reckoned with when necessary. At the very least, he was that. Great artwork, glad he picked up a paintbrush!

I know that the former British Prime Minister Blair has always been a loyal America’s friend to stand with America together always. Not easy to learn how to paint, but as long as consistently paint and never give up, one day would become great artist. The former President Bush is a very nice person besides Governing leadership busy jobs. I like to watch the Japan’s Administer’s singing and it seems he really likes the former President Bush.

Had he chosen a different Vice President I believe his kindness would have shown through more in his policies. The man that is the Bush that we know today without all of the overpowering influence of the power holders in Washington would have been a far better president. Like every President Bush did good things but unfortunately for America his war policies far outweighed everything else.

If the former President Bush is willing and being able to learn how to paint which he had never engaged into and becomes as an easy task for him and achieves it, then we should be interested and able to learn more to understand more and do better things in our life too. It’s never easy and less capabilities maybe, but trying more, achieve a little bit better, still is better than none though, I guess.

Thank you President Bush 43 to share about this video with all of us. President Bush’s whole families are absolutely amazing by principles, kindness and decency altogether. This is why I love them all always. As the top government leadership position is never easy. Handle things by principles for America’s greatness, dealt with human’s nature of kindness and decency nature altogether by generosity of forgiveness and learning experiences from mistakes as chance giving through learning experiences and appreciation from good or better or ok part altogether. I guess President Bush 41’s heart of gold not only touched President Reagan’s heart to appoint him to be his Vice President for America’s greatness together, also influenced his children of all from learning experiences, I guess. Although I don’t know politics much, but I value our country America’s own established principles of Foundation and Constitution for freedoms and equality of the opportunities. I also pray for our own generosity of forgiveness nature to unite together again by our America’s principles through learning experiences to build America together again. If God’s mighty heart can forgive our sins, if from two President status leaderships are willing to help others to learn more to understand more and do better things quickly through their generosity nature and decency, will we ordinary Americans touched by this and learn together from our country America’s principles and understand more and do better things quickly together instead of mad forever or criticizing each other forever. Although I don’t know if I am right or wrong, somehow, I know mighty God will forgive and waiting for us to learn more to understand more and do better things quickly always. God bless America always and help our great nation to reunite us together by America’s principles, learning experiences and generosity of forgiveness nature to each other this time from his spirit. Amen. We then govern by our country America’s own established principles quickly together.

One thing is for sure that the former President Bush 43 mixed his kindness and humbleness into his paintings to appreciate whatever from his recalls. I guess artist’s creation or artistic compositions must rely on deep true feelings from own deep intuition of any events, especially as portrait paintings.

Always makes me really happy to see the presidents outside of the office and the nice things they do.
