Radagon becomes the helix sword that the Elden Beast wields. You can see the helix in the original Elden Ring in Maliketh's boss room. Marika distilled part of the Elden Ring into Radagon, probably in order to weaken it and eventually shatter it.

Sacred Relic Sword description: "Sword wrought from the remains of a god who should have lived a life eternal." You can even see Radagon's arms and ribcage as the hilt of the sword, it's most visible in the Elden Beast cutscene when he pulls it out of the ground.

I've had a pet theory that Radagon was recalled to the Erdtree Capital to marry Queen Marika after Ranni was realized to be an Empyrean, almost like the child was proof of concept. If we apply some basic 3rd grade genetics, we've got a few different couplings that have had various results in turning out Empyrean children. The first of which, was Godfrey and Marika, G/M, which produced a powerful demigod lineage (including omens such as mogh/morgott (unless they come from the M/R pairing?, an answer to this question might actually matter alot)?), but none of them qualify as "Empyrean". Next, we have Rennnala and Radagon, R/R, who produced several powerful demigod heirs, one of which qualifies as Empyrean. Finally, we have the pairing of Marika and Radagon, M/R, which resulted in the twins Miquella and Malenia, both of whom are Empyrean. If we assume Mogh/Morgott were fathered by Godfrey, then the only children known to come from the pairing of Radagon and Marika were all empyreans. It's like... inbreeding (the M/R pairing) forcing out recessive genetic traits, in this case that trait being whatever factors make one qualify as an Empyrean. This obviously comes with unfortunate consequences obviously, Miquella and Malenia are absolutely cursed. It seems Ranni is the only Empyrean we can really consider stable, if you consider slaying your own flesh and haunting a puppet to free yourself from the machinations of the greater will as "stable".

Fellow perfumer - You are approaching revelation. Here are the steps. Step one: Place the chosen matter inside Crucible. Raise heat until the matter's vaporous Angels are released. Step two: Collect the Angels as they are emitted, and purge the impurities left within the matter as soon as it rejects them from the crucible. Step three: Inspect the matter for further impurities before attempting the creation of life with the resultant matter. Step four: Observe the resulting Homunculus, in the hopes that it has become pure enough for further attempts. Step five: Reunite the Angels and Homunculus with the matter, and fire them again in the crucible. Step six: This Homunculus is deemed the Hermaphrodite. A perfectly balanced creation that signals the success of the process. But is the Homunculus indeed the Hermaphrodite or merely another aborted failure? (yes, late medieval alchemists used these terms) The golden stone, is the golden tree, is the element sought by Marika. The will wants stability. Marika wanted purity. A Golden Order. Fromsoft doesn't distinguish between eras of alchemy so everything is mixed up. It still reads as the crucible firing in an attempt to create the pure element of gold. Unfortunately Gold remains tainted with Copper.

It is interesting to note that in version 1.00 it is Radagon that gifts Loretta to Miquella for his Haligtree to serve at, and protect, the Haligtree. The reason? Because Miquella was the Scion of the Vision. What was the Vision? The Haligtree (or so I believe). This is recounted in the Loretta armor set.

I think the item description lines that state Radagon learned of sorceries with the Carians so that he may "become whole" (I don't remember which items) hint at his artificial nature from the jump, so I don't think Radagon was an alter ego of Marika's so to speak, at least not at the point of marrying into the Carians. But this was a very thought provoking video, and I think you're onto something!

I don't remember where, but I remember seeing something that implied that Radagon was curse put upon Marika by the Fire Giants before she and Godfrey killed them all, and then Marika cursed the last Fire Giant to guard the flame. My personal theory is that after Radagon was cursed on Marika, Marika split him from herself and Radagon became her champion. An incomplete god as a warrior would be a powerful asset. But since they were two halves, they each took something from the other. Radagon took the devotion to the greater will and Golden Order, while Marika kept the doubts. Then during the Liurnia wars, Radagon began to become his own person and probably somewhat cared for Rennala, hence he had three kids with her, but his devotion to the Golden Order remained his top priority. So when he was recalled to the capital, he didn't hesitate. While in the capital, that's when he and Marika probably remerged, an attempt for the Golden Order to control Marika who's doubts about the order were failing. But at that point it was too late, as Radagon and Marika had grown into their own personalities with their own views. I know there are some who think Marika and Radagon were the same person at all times and just transformed when needed, but since the Lands Between/the world of Elden Ring in general is supposed to be a Game of Thrones styled world, where there are political figures and basically had a functioning society prior to the Shattering, it would be impossible/not make any sense if Queen Marika was able to disappear long enough for Radagon to be king of Liurina and father three kids, and in that time, no one noticed the Queen was missing from the capital.

I have always found it weird how radagon would be able to gift rennala with a great rune way before the shattering, may he forged his own great rune like goldmask/dungeater did, the great rune of the unborn is fully a mimic tear rune, something maybe created from the unique experiences of a mimic tear, it is quite literally radagon's escence. Once he came back to marika he would find a nwe focus trough fundamentalism and that would in time give birth to the chekered great rune we see, that would be the rune of order, he was quite loved by the elden ring as he was able to birth two runes, then once marika shatered the elden ring he fused his great rune with the collapsing elden ring like we do with the mending runes or fused back with marika in order to fuse their great runes.

I have a way of proving that it had to be Radagon as Radagon who was doing the wedding and bedding with Rennala, and also proving that Radagon can't have been part of Marika's forces for very long before that. But before I detail that, there's a different matter I want to go over: Melina. I agree that Melina probably was the result of Marika doing something involving the Gloam-Eyed Queen, but I don't think it was her using pieces of the GEQ's body. Something important to remember: in the Lands Between, with Death locked away, nobody truly dies (unless killed by Maliketh or a Black Knife). Rather, their souls return to the Erdtree to be reborn a'new and continue their life everlasting. And do remember who it is who has their throne within the Erdtree. So it shouldn't have been so hard for Marika to do whatever god-magic she has and pluck the GEQ's soul from the Erdtree, perhaps encasing it in amber to keep it from "returning to circulation" as it were. Hell, that may even be why she had Maliketh act as her personal hitman instead of sending Godfrey or using that hammer of hers and showing off how much of a god she really was: she needed to be waiting inside the Erdtree to snatch up the GEQ's soul before it could get reincarnated into a dog or springhare or some peasant's bastard offspring, who knows. Either way, it'd make sense that she'd probably want to keep the soul of a fellow Empyrean "on tap" in case of emergencies. Then, when Radagon and the Greater Will had her trapped inside the Erdtree, I think she popped the cork on her bottle of Gloam-Eyed Soul and tried to "reformat" her into something less murder-y and more servile. But because she doesn't have Radagon cooperating in making this one, Melina is still "burned and bodiless," burned from her own black flame while fighting Maliketh and bodiless because, without Radagon doing his part and with her trapped in the Erdtree, Marika can't make her a real body (interpret as you will). So now Melina is and isn't the Gloam-Eyed Queen, and is related to Marika, and is still burned and bodiless. As for the "Radagon had to be in Liurnia himself," thing, it all comes down to the item description of the Radagon Icon: "As the husband of Rennala of Caria, the red-haired Radagon studied sorcery, and as the husband of Queen Marika, he studied incantations. Thus did the hero aspire to be complete." Obviously, he had to have been there in person to learn the sorceries, so it can't have been Marika there. But the fact that it says he only started learning incantations *_after_* he married Marika, that kinda puts a limit on when he could have been a part of Marika's forces. If he had been a major name from the start, it would be insane for him to not already know incantations from the Crucible, or some of the older Erdtree incantations. But he also had to be a big enough name that he could lead the 2nd Liurnian War and do diplomacy on behalf of Marika. My theory is that he was created during the 1st Liurnian War, made a name for himself in battle (almost like he's some sort of god playing at being mortal), and then Marika put him in command for the 2nd Liurnian war after only a brief ceasefire (maybe as short as one, maybe two years). That way, he isn't around long enough to pick up any incantations before it's his turn on the throne, but he's still able to be a champion in order to be the one leading the 2nd invasion.

It's also worth noting that conventional births are frowned upon by the Golden Order. Some of the most persecuted groups in the Lands Between are those who produce life independently of the Erdtree. So, when we speak of the gods and demi-gods having children it may be unwise to think of this as them 'bumping uglies' and this involving a pregnancy, delivery etc. Apart from Miquella, there are very few depictions of children in the game and we don't even encounter or hear of children apart from in hated, heretical groups like the Mt. Gelmir gang and the occasional mural like the ones in Farum Azula but nothing in obstensibly Golden Order strongholds.

I figure this was once the point of Radagon. But with the game being a massive showcase of parallels I figure it happened earlier like when that cut concept with the mimic tear was around, though that was cut out and so they added "you've yet to become me" line in Marika's Audience room before the throne.

Cool video. I like the speculative element; there's only so far you can go with item descriptions. There's tons of observations here I'm on board with and the central hypothesis isn't far-fetched. Numen, after all, are basically aliens from another planet with advanced technology and a demonstrated knack for bio-engineering. Marika could have made Radagon. But that doesn't mean she did. The strongest argument against Radagon being a science experiment comes from the scar and soreseals, I think. Whoever was handing those out, and that was probably the Greater Will, considered Radagon to be Marika's equal in some way. I don't think those items would've been awarded to a science project. So, who was Radagon? When Miriel mentions Radagon and Rennala's wedding, she talks of the great houses of the Erdtree and Moon being conjoined. If Radagon was simply a champion, that statement doesn't really make sense. If he were a blood relative of Marika, it does. If Radagon were Marika's brother, it would explain the condition of their children, as well as his legitimacy for godhood and possession of the seals. .

A fun ramble! I just wanted to add/answer some questions you posed. The game sort of alludes to Mimic's being able to reproduce, depending on how you interpret the Nightfolk. They have the grey/silver skin of a mimic and their summary reads "The features of those known as Nightfolk. Few in number, they were said to bleed silver long ago." I read this transition from "bleeding silver long ago" to be a generational change from interbreeding with people outside the Lands Between otherwise it makes no sense to suddenly change. Also it does seem to imply the Nox are the descendants of the Numen who were banished underground. While there are a lot of Machavillian plots attributed to the Nox intention behind making the mimics it was likely more to do with their poor ability to propogate as a species. Numen are long lived and seldom born. Now imagine you are part of a faction of Numen who gets further isolated. The creation of the mimics would allow them to stablize their population. Because of their Numen nature now there are very few Nox wandering their cities but there are hordes of mimics. The suppliment has out grown the primary population. I have a number of rambly theories that I like to talk about like the Farum Azula Elden Ring. But I have one that I'd like some folks thoughts on. I think Radahn was a practitioner and perhaps even founder of Dragon Communion. When I watched the trailer with Malenia fighting him, I noticed his eyes are not gold but yellow. Then there is the matter of his skin seemingly turning gray and obviously his size increase. The main Church of Dragon Communion is right outside Redmane Castle. Caelid's up lands are overrun with modern dragons. If we consider how Radahn valued strength of arms there would be an inherit friction with the local dragons and Communion would be a check on those dragons. One of the other things that stood out to me is the Magma Wyrms' swords are similarly shaped to Radahn's. I know it is weird but I feel like that visual que is there for a reason. In a weird way, the way the Wyrms slide around on their butt and then swing at you is very similar to how Radahn circles around on Leonard and swipes at us. There is like a similar rhythm to them. So I believe Radahn, to control the local dragon population as well as pursue greater power began down the path of Dragon Communion or created the path. The side effects of this communion made him larger and greyer and gave him Yellow eyes. Through Dragon Communion I believe he became considered one of the more powerful demi-gods. The Communion Church located in Limgrave harkens back to Radahn's war with Godrick and was likely a Dragon Cult church before Radahn's communists destroyed/repurposed it.

The context spells out the following in regards to GEQ: the elden ring was whole while she wielded the rune of death so she had the elden ring. So she was the god queen of the previous era (Placidusax, Great Tree, Farum Azula) The point of the godhunt was to eliminate competition like Marika would later do. As to how it relates to this theory, they can be true at the same time and I do find it interesting. I woukd say that Numen and Nox are the same thing, but the Nox are those who took a different god (prefer the old ways). I like this Radagon theory a bit better than the one where 😱 they're not the same person. It actually really does make sense he's a synth lord for all the same reasons they could be the same person: empyreans are two person gods like Fulcanelli (male/female) and there could be or have been a divergent Radagon clone.

ngl, a lot of this has massive holes but there are things that could work. For example, it'd make more sense for Marika to have used a shred of herself to make Radagon rather than the Giant's Flame, after the Destined Death fiasco she wouldn't be so stupid as to have another leal hound carry the thing that could destroy her backfire. Additionally, the red hair came from a curse, that was stated in one of the items, which would lend more credence to Marika being the one to splice it into Radagon. Like what if Marika was the one originally cursed but she split that into Radagon to keep her golden hair? Heck, I think another RU-vidr stated that due to the connection between Carians and the Fire Giants from their olden days, Renalla would likely have a proclivity towards it and making her fall further for him. Very little would point to Marika willingly making the mistake of giving the one thing that could destroy the Erdtree a body, not after Maliketh and Destined Death. As for Miquella, his theme isn't sleep but rather life. His alter ego, St Trina, does sleep and even then it's about putting others to sleep as a Sandman/God of dreams kinda figure. That said, given the Ancestor Spirits are beings that seem to have some control over life, them being used as samples to produce a being of pure life would make sense. That said, the theory does hold weight. Marika is a Numen, meaning she could definitely have accessed the mimic tears and such, and a goddess so chances are she could probably do more than just cast illusions and straight up shapeshift, so if she wanted to she could produce a child with Renalla(that or just use the Amber Egg). Very little points against this possibility.

I always have enjoyed watching your theories and have agreed with many of them. This is one where I cannot. I may be wrong but the simple fact that Radahn by all accounts is basically a baby giant leads me to believe that Radagon himself is part giant. I can assume by Tanith being Rykard's consort meaning she didn't originally hail from royalty and was just a dancer as her armor item description reads, was most likely around his size. What this could possibly mean is that perhaps the first two births, being Radahn and Rykard were biological and Ranni was made using the rebirth rune and is the only Empryean of the three. I actually don't know if Ranni was the youngest of the three but I find it odd that only she out of all her siblings had that status. Rykard actually seems strange too as he has a beard and facial features that make him resemble Godfrey and even Radahn is stated to have looked up to him

Remember that Radahn has a human-sized throne in Leyndell and a normal horse. Unless giants start at human size and just keep on growing, I can't get behind the idea that Radagon is a fire giant, or really any of the demigods, and that his hair being red and a "curse" is more symbolic than literal. Idk why Radahn is so huge, though.

I think that radagon is similar to what the cut Asimi tear quest, he was an experiment, but one made of amber or gold, if gold created by marika, if amber, perhaps he was born of the tree’s own will, but incomplete, with the waning of the erdtree he lacks personality, and so he is essentially a doll, especially since he never speaks much like a puppet, and the amber egg in general gets me thinking that, red hair, the amber egg, he is probably born of the erdtree’s primordial sap, and the lattice kind of represents it well, he holds within him the essence of great bestowal strength and chaos, but he has the mind of a scholar, the faith of a priest, he seeks to be one with all things, but have barriers between them, and the reason renalla got the egg was such that she would never die, simply revive eternally, which is what I assume happens at the end of the sellen’s quest

I’m also strongly convinced the fingerslayer blade is made of godwyn, which makes sense to me for multiple reasons, 1 it gives extra background reasoning to kill godwyn, 2 it may explain why he looks like he does, with the fish tail, because his pelvis may have been partially stolen to make the blade, 3 it actually creates a larger reason for the plot of the black knives, we killed godwyn and let Alecto take the fall (evergoal) so the nox could create the fingerslayer blade safely, possibly safely living in lleyendell at the time (see tarnished archaeologist’s eternal empire video) before the decimation of that spot of the city, which may also explain as to why godwyn is in deep root depths, he wasn’t placed there, he fell, and was able to mass absorb the runes in his living body of all the residents who died, which is why he’s so huge, he’s parasitising the erdtree roots

I would guess that both Radagon and Marika could shapeshift. The mimic veil (colloquially called Marika's Mischief) was used by Godrick to escape Lyndell as a woman. Either one could have used the disguise to look like the other. Marika may have been an Odin-like trickster who created a body double. One to rule over Lyndell and do the boring parts of the job, and one to adventure, love, and fight. They likely switched places time and again so Marika could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. Perhaps she did create a mimic tear from the fire giant. But my guess is she crafted a normal mimic tear like we do. A mimic tear that played the part of a god for so long it became one just as ours becomes a comparable reflection of the elden lord.

The game already has such an emphasis on Gold, and there was another comment on another video that discussed a classic alchemic concept of golden perfection by taking something, splitting it in two, then eventually rejoining them into one, changed and allowed to recombine into something greater. As I see it, Marika came first and the Greater Will itself, made Radagon from her, sent him out and had him become the Moonlight Consort of Liurnia, to learn and grow from another perspective, then he was called back, and eventually in an attempt to create the perfect vessel of its will, recombined with Marika, maybe even earlier than intended, considering Marika was still quite independent and could defy the GW...

I think the Greater Will is the one who is doing the experimenting with fusing. Also, if you think about Radagon’s connections to briars and thorns, and what happened to the Fire Giants, it makes his true identity more clear. Things that are deformed, stunted, short, are scorned in the Lands Between, and Radagon found a new people after rebirth, and got revenge.

If you look at the Marais mask, and then at the Zamor mask, they look remarkably similar. The face shape, size, eyes, nose etc. Both have long hair, although Marais mask features neatly braided hair that is bright white, a stark contrast to the dark and wild hair of Zamor warriors, but very reminiscent of the snowy mountaintops. There isn't anything else linking the two, but the mask designs bearing such a strong resemblance to each other and literally no other mask in the game seems like an intentional choice. The Zamor heritage might also explain why House Marais were only ever executioners and Castellans, never Lords or true nobility. It would appear that the Nox were trying to make giants to sit the large throne chairs found in the various Eternal Cities. The giants these thrones were built for were likely their artificial gods, though it's not 100% certain. A strong likelihood though is that one of these artificial gods is the "towering sister" Latenna says will house the Birthing Drop, and give birth to new albunaurics, making them true lifeforms, neither man made nor at the whim of the erdtree via erdtree birth.

My guess is Marika is trying to overthrow the greater will and break her connection to radagon through the tarnished as an extension of herself. Her children are pawns to strip more power from the greater will and so that one individual can gain their power and free her. For her overarching goal, I’d say is freedom. But really it could be so she can be the one true god of the lands between, or even become an outer god rather than limited to her current form

Marika is a silver tear meaning Radagon is also a silver tear and we know the rebirthing droplet Latenna gives to the Marika statue sized Albanuric woman is similar to the rebirthing droplet which still hold power even after retrieving the great rune of the unborn from it. If you have noted the skin tones of the beings in the lands between, the only gray tones belong to the Albanurics who are clearly born as Latenna’s quest shows, and the denizens of the lands between(look at a Godrick soldier for an example. You could argue that it could stem from decay but l would theorize that to be unlikely considering Gastoc is Gastoc.

Radagon is a polar oposite of Marika. Marika always acted to change things. She murdered everyone in her way to establish a new age. She married Rennala to change the Golden Order. However, Radagon's sudden departure was because he's the opposite: Regression. Marika strifes for change, Radagon for preservation. That's why he had to return to the capital. Because he had to regress back into Marika and he had to return to his seat of power. And why is that? Because Radagon is the shell of of the Elden Beast. And the Elden Beast, who acts in the name of the Greater Will strifes to keep things the way they are. Marika on the other hand disagreed. She wanted to be succeeded which is why she tried to give birth to Empyrians so desperately. Didn't work out so she instead she attempted to murder her inner god. The Elden Ring is the Elden Beast's dormant form so she literally tried to shatter the beast itself (which is a gigachad move, LOL) but the beast used its control over Radagon to fix itself to some degree. But apparently Marika knew it would backfire so she made sure that her demigod children got their hands on the shards of the Elden Ring so they would all fall to madness and mess up the Lands Between. This would force the Greater Will to call for the Tarnished to clean up the mess but that was Marika's failsafe plan all along. She made sure the Tarnished would grow strong, unleash Destined Death and made sure that only a worthy tarnished would step up by flinging Godfrey himself at the Tarnished as a final test. Once we entered Marika's prison, Radagon aka the Elden Beast took over to yeet us back out but we break Radagon and so the Elden Ring went without a vessel. So it had to regress back into the Elden Beast to face us in its vulnerable form until we destroy it alltogther. What's interesting though is that we get to fix Marika. That we can use our gathered shards of the Elden Ring to patch it back together and turn Marika into the vessel of the Elden Ring once more, but this time without the beast's meddling.

I think radagon is tool constructed by the golden order to usurp marika once she started having doubts about the order after the genocide of the giants. The red hair is a way of mocking her. And he first went to raya lucaria to learn about the numen, nox, and albinaurics. I mean the albinaurics are blonde numen looking women who attract wolves to them and they have poorly developed legs just like all the kids born of Rennala's amber. I think those were science experiments by radagon using the wisdom of raya lucaria to rebuild marika to better serve the golden order. Eventually the order satisfied with what he was able to do ( and seeing the vacant throne left in godfrey's absence) spurned him on to become the next elden lord where he could study Marika more closely, and find a way to take over her body and power. "Oh Radagon, leal hound of the golden order. Thou art yet to become me. Thou art yet to become a god. Let us be shattered both, mine other self." This sounds to me like Marika caught on to his plan, and hatched a plan of her own to essentially destroy them both.

Another RU-vidr has a pretty wacky idea that Marika and Radagon are NOT the same person at all, and that Radagon either took advantage of Marika's imprisonment and acted as her, or imprisoned Marika himself. I don't fully agree with it but the conversation Marika has with Radagon makes a lot of sense in this kind of context. The thing is, Elden Ring takes so many themes from Christianity it's hard to ignore how Marika/Radagon parallels God/Jesus with both being the same entity, yet separate to the point where they can talk to each other and have separate wills. In my head canon, Radagon was either chosen or created to replace Marika as the one true god, but he still had to "be" Marika because she's the immortal vessel for the Elden Ring. So Radagon had to do some ritual to fuse with, copy or otherwise "become" Marika. If Radagon is a mimic tear or a homunculus created from Fell God parts, I think it points to his purpose as being Marika's replacement. Great video btw, the idea that Malenia was created with the rot god intentionally inside her really got me buzzin

I think radagon was always marika, a by product of being either a god or a numen, not that they were always combined, but one soul in two bodies, Alpharius/omegon style. as to why shes talking to herself, thou art yet to become me, art thou to become a god, and to be shattered mine other self, to me it is her trying to seperate him from her, body mind and spirit. At some point radagon reuinited or merged with marika, perhaps thats their ability, to unify and seperate, then he went to go war with renalla. miquella and saint trina might be the same concept, st trina isnt spoken of much, the lore kinda just says st trina is androgenous, at least the torch does and is said he has an adult form which was unnerving, so, either st trina is miquillas alter ego or a woman who was bestowed the title of saint and had a starro face and was loyal to miq, or his Shadow(bound beast) despite malania existing, which if i were miquella id jave my shadow be my personal admiral/champion and my sister close, shadows are doggedly loyal, having one command my armies with super charisma and with my ideals easily makes me more versatile with my time, conversely, malania calling him the most fearsome could be because of him being st trina. Miq and marika kinda mirror each other in a visual psudo psychological way, both are blonde, both have trees, both are "soft" in their concept, one being a little boy and one being a woman, both things ideally a man/masculine figure would protect, both command vast arrays of alliances, one rallying humonculae and mutants, one sending her husband to go die, the tarnished, godfreys armies, aka:us, ect. My questions are, who was miquellas outer god, is marika from the eternal cities below? Are numen hermaphraditic?

Good video, I like seeing someone make a video that doesnt just double down on consensus lore theory. I myself believe that Radagon is Marika's unborn twin brother. His great rune is the only one that isnt named after the character who possessed it, ie Radahns Great Rune is named such and not "Great Rune of the Warrior" for example. But what if the great rune of the unborn is named after Radagon, what if Radagon is the Unborn. The item description even calls it "The Great Rune of unborn demigods". Unborn usually is a term referencing children who die in the womb. There is even evidence that Marika might have a twin, one is the intertwined umbilical cord item that was cut from the game which represents twins, but didnt mention which and was to be found in Leyyndell. Twins also are more likely to give birth to twins themselves, and Marika had 5 kids, 4 of which came from two sets of twins. Giving birth to twins once is rare, but twice? Radagons great rune also possesses the power to birth someone anew perhaps hinting that Radagon was also birthed anew. Rennala even seems to speak to the amber egg as if it is Radagon. I think Radagon feared he may die, so he left the Amber Egg housing his great rune with Rennala so she could rebirth him and the reason she started rebirthing people was to practice so she could one day do so for Radagon. However Radagon didnt die, and instead was fused to Marika preventing his rebirth. So Rennala patiently waits with the egg until Radagon can be reborn. I think Radagon died in the womb, then later Marika heard or contacted her twin brothers spirit as its implied that Marika was a spirit caller (hinted at in Hewgs dialogue) and could hear the voices of spirits like Roderika. She then breaks off Radagons rune from the elden ring and uses it to rebirth her unborn brother, perhaps using a piece of herself as a base for the process. Radagon then goes on to live his own life devoting himself to the Golden Order and eventually marrying Rennala. Being recalled to act as Marika's watch dog, as he was the leal hound of the order. The golden order wanted him to be Elden Lord because they believed he could resist Marika and wouldnt be manipulated into helping her plans to betray them. Which seems likely as he attempted to repair the Elden Ring which doesnt make sense if he was controlled by Marika or was Marika in disguise or an alter ego. Marika then fuses their spirits and bodies trapping Radagon along with herself, then tasks Hewg to create a god slaying weapon to kill her which would kill Radagon and the Elden Beast both fused within her body. Also, the Elden Beasts sword is literally created from Radagons body, yet Marikas corpse is present after the battle which doesnt make sense if her and Radagon share the same body. Likely the Elden Beast separated the two into their original bodies when it exits Marika and summons a new battlefield to fight in, likely to protect the Ring from collateral damage. Like your theory, thought id share my own. I could add more but Ill save the rambling for you.
