My name is Xanthe Wyse.
I don't usually edit my videos. In this one, I tried to chop out segments but it became out of order, which was frustrating.
Tried to put back in order but then my brain doesn't tend to put things in sequence anyway.
My primary diagnoses are post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder (type 1). Doctors classify my impairment is from a 'mental injury'. Also have clinicially significant autism spectrum features (under PDD-NOS diagnosis) and social anxiety disorder (currently mild).
Clinicians say I have a 'flat effect' (don't usually show emotional expression on my face). Probably why I don't have face wrinkles yet, even though I'm over 50. I did smile briefly in this video though (liked a joke). It's not often that people get to see me smile or show much face expression.
The flat effect was also in some of my childhood family videos from the 70s and 80s:

I am unable to work fulltime, nor a high stress job. I work a low-paid job with flexible hours, parttime. I also have a hobby art business.
I might read a few chapters of Bipolar Courage: Are You Sure You're Not Autistic? if I get a few times with a bit of peace and quiet in the household.
My self-published books (one a novel, a mixture of memoir and fiction) and a memoir, focus on disabilities and relationships. Inspired by my experiences.
I mainly write and paint as a form of therapy and self-expression. Any form of creative expression can be therapeutic though.
