I come from a mixed background as well. I'm Pakistani + Mexican. I feel like my parents were very similar to yours in terms of instilling in us early on to be strong in our faith, going to Sunday school, and knowing to feel empowered in who we are. They also were never afraid to explain things to us which helped us so much in understanding why things are the way they are. May Allah bless your parents for instilling those values in you all ✨

What they are sharing and talking about is the absolute truth about the real religion and its core .Not what ""RELIGIOUS MEN"" say ..The main problem is that people in the arab area don't deliver it the right way ,and they stick the old pre-Islamic Arab traditions to the religion as they say what benefits them especially for political reasons and BTW this wasn't the case 100 years ago . But fortunately , very recently some honest people appeared to say the truth that god want

I honestly love how their family interacts with one another and how they make time for one another. I started to cry a little when they sang happy birthday and their dad was smiling 😊. It’s really nice to see. So thank you for shearing and I hope that when I get older and start a family we are close like what I see and we can make time for one another.

Thank you for this video! Your parents are inspirational. As a Muslim living in this modern society, instilling religion in our daily lives can be quite challenging. Setting up a good example and not forcing them but making them indirectly feel guilty is a good way! I would like to raise my 2 children the same way too Inshaallah!! :)

The part when ya’ll where in the boat had me crackling so much 🤣 I was laughing crying at the jokes about the alligator and how they wouldn’t wanna eat Loren cause of her suit colour and how skinny she was 🤣 I do that to my siblings too just to like make ‘em feel at ease and forget about their fear. I think this was my favorite episode by far. Loved the sibling banter and the jokes about the alligators. The paddle that naeem was constantly holding. When your dad was talking alaina also wanted to jump in and give advice too 😂 very cute family, mA so happy you all had a great time on the lake. +1 to the swimsuit feels when you’re a hijabi. I totally relate to that.
