I’ve owned this bow now for over a year and shot over 8000+ arrows with it. It still performs like new, maybe even better. I shoot in all weathers, cold, sun, snow, light rain and it’s fine. I saw a video from Grozer suggesting to unstring very slowly which I’m in the habit of doing now. Amazing bow and one of the best I own for sure.

Same for me! An awesome bow, and I love the Xylophone sound it makes. Only drawback: holding arrows in the bow hand does not really work with this handle shape, particularly on horseback. Other bows perform better in this respect.

Hello Armin, Thanks a lot for your rewiews and all your good advices, I learn a lot from you, I have a Assyrian biocomposite since already a year, I shoot almost every day and it's always a pleasure !! That's true that czaba Grozer send only a bow a string a sleeve and the garantee card, but.. but .. but.. last week I send him a message to order a new string, his assistant Eva answers the same day, that they send me the string next week for free ! perhaps it's deserve one more point for the customer relationship !! regards from France

Had this bow for a year now, and I love it more. Just bought the persian biocomposite which is nice, and still prefer the asyrian. I bought a yamaha acoustic guitar quite a few years ago,the model became so very popular, because rarely you will find a gem produced that defies all odds. The Asyrian Biocomposite Bow by Grozer is one of them,a gem, pure genious.

Thanks for another exellent review. Just a short comment on two things. Every string from Czaba Grozer has a dark section near one of the loops. That is the top loop. Then you can even tell if you have the bow the right side up without having to look for the writing Second. The 4 digit number on the belly is the year and month of build, so if you buy a secondhand bow, you will know how old it is. I guess also for guarantee purposes. I have one of these in 67#@28 and it is 83#@33 I have a drawlength of 32, and it is just amazing to shoot even from horseback. Anyway, love your work, so keep it up please :)

And my Living Arrow bow isn't exactly old yet. It, too, is wonderful. So I'll wait before I get another. But one of these days.....! Armin, thanks for reviewing this bow again. You had a different take on it this time, and that is valuable for us out here who are learning online and buying without trying. Question about the 60 degree string angle: You mentioned in a video that you look for the 60 degree angle for max efficiency at max draw length. I wonder if having the 60 degree angle at a lower draw length than max would make for a more forgiving shooting experience? Instead of a high-stress launch at max power/efficiency, could the arrow release have a soft build to max power, a little like a compound bow. If that's the case, could that allow a greater range of arrow weights and spines, especially shooting with khatra or torque techniques? Very curious what you think. Oh, and that Assyrian bow is AMAZING! Love that style bow, very similar to certain Native American bows from the West Coast....

60° string angle.. awesome bow! very nice video and go for the 10 points review Armin,. and because this is a way of communication........ Armin is not time to explain the physics behind the 60°? I understand that the energy the bow stores hast to be efficient to exercise the force along a vector flowing the string oriented opposite to the nocked arrow, in this manner pulling the string so pushing the arrow on a path that is the vector sum from of both limbs.... stills follow...? vectors.. triangles... school physics. I say all this and try to explain a thought... I think the shape of the bow can change so much how this forces act at different stages of the be bow going to its relaxed position. I thin would be very interesting to hear what you can say about the 60°. and if I went already out of the way... all revisiting bows... bow you mentioned in videos that needed to be shot more often...? sharing a tip some one might like. If I understood his process correctly, the biocomposite bows use actual wood, horn, and sinew. The horn and sinew are both prepared over time by some secret method which results in maleable plates of each material. The only modern material in the biocomposite bows is the glue; in the true composite bow he makes, he uses "fish glue". Grozer has a video on RU-vid explaining it.

You should warm up the limbs sufficiently so we can see consistent speed readings. Shoot it a bunch then measure at the very end.
