I remember hearing Jordan Peterson talk about this, how these radical political activist types are often people with low self-esteem who don’t have much going on in their lives. That’s why they attach themselves to these political ideologies and convince themselves that they are saving the world or some shit.

Back around 91 they were protesting the Persian Gulf War, but had no idea what it was about. Never heard of Kuwait or Iraq. Some fellows I knew went there just because the girls there were easy.

This is something my mother told me about the time she was a student in the 70s. Students in my country were protesting on the streets about a war that we had no involvement in and was happening on the other side of the world. It was pretty much the equivalent of sending thoughts and prayers on a facebook post while disturbing everyone trying to go to work.

In a lot of places it gets even worse as well, the crazies running the show will target people who don't agree with their protests, so it becomes a join the protest or you're likely to end up in a lot of trouble due to the idiots who don't care how vile their tactics are.

Most of these protesters are rich, privileged kids who never worked a day in their lives. They have no purpose and they just lash onto a "cause" to give their live some meaning. I'm an atheist, but I ironically wish for Christianity to make a comeback. Without proper guidance, people are lost.
