The irony is, the backlash is what he was avoiding from the start by not showing his face. Hes not an ugly dude. He just doesn't look like what those people expected. and also.... Who cares? Honestly.... truly... if you were negatively effected by a youtubers face reveal, you need to unplug and sort your priorities.
Dream getting flamed for his looks is just evidence that if the internet doesn’t like you they will find a way to horrendously insult your appearance. There is no face that dream could have had to spare him from this.
100% true! He could have looked like a drop dead gorgeous first class male model and a huge portion of people would have gone off. That's the internet for ya....😂
Gonna have to disagree with you on that last part, you know that if a Timothee Chalamet lookalike had been behind that mask, this wouldn’t have happened
Gabi, I'm so glad you touched on this. I saw a Dream face reveal meme that compared him to the fast food guy from Jimmy Neutron, and I thought that was funny. But I was so mortified when I realized Dream ACTUALLY had a face reveal and people were making memes about how ugly he was. That is so mean-spirited and awful.
yeah fr... i don't LIKE him but i think what a lot of people who are clowning on his looks don't seem to understand is that other people out there have the same facial features as him and they'll see people making fun of his appearance and go "oh... so i'm ugly too..." which . really sucks. :/ again idc about dream in general but making fun of his looks really isn't it
@@emmarosie7176 eeeehhhhhhhh... i think that in this case it's a matter of social decency rather than him setting himself up for anything. it's a given that some people will think he's ugly whether or not that reveal was hyped up, it's just unnecessary to be so loud about that- it doesn't have to be for his sake either, just for People In General
The only meme I saw was someone who turns every meme into a “better call Saul” reference editing him completely into the Saul dude, which was genuinely funny because it’s not making fun of his appearance, it’s just a random dude
I am not a Dream fan, didn’t know much about him tbh but I was super into the reveal. The live chat on the video was so sad and made me feel really bad for him :( I feel like people hyped him up so much and had very unrealistic expectations for his looks. He isn’t ugly, he’s just a normal guy. I don’t know what people expected.
Yeah he’s just kinda normal looking, I didn’t understand the hype at all beforehand tbh. Everyone going insane over how he looks is exactly why he probably should’ve kept his face hidden forever at this point. I wouldn’t have blamed him tbh
It’s so sad that this face reveal shows everyone what the true colors and sides of digital anonymity are. People are ruthlessly insulting someone who already struggles with himself and this will surely have an astronomical effect on him. No one has to find someone else attractive but actively trying to worsen a person’s image of themselves is just vile and adds to the cruelty of our world. I really hope that this kind of behavior will be called out more in the future because this ain‘t it guys
I feel like he probably knew what his fans would do (especially after what they did when a fake face pic got leaked) and still did the face reveal anyway. Doesn’t make sense to me personally but I’m sure it took a lot of bravery from him so everyone’s reactions must suck.
I think it's especially bad because there are genuine criticisms to be made about dream as a person and an influencer, and we should be more trying to get him to realize his actual wrongdoings, but instead people decide to say and do petty things because they don't like him. It's icky and weird and just as bad as dream stans going out of their way to irrationally criticize people who say dream could improve.
The sad truth is that people love to talk about body positivity and being kind to each other, but they don't hesitate to say the meanest shit about the physical appearance of people they don't like, and the more fame and money that person has the more vicious it gets.
Reminds me of tabloids that take candid pictures of celebs at the beach and like circle a roll or a blemish or something with “THEY LET THEMSELVES GO!!” Like any of the people taking the pictures are anywhere near as fit as these people are.
None of its real. I bet half or more of the people in this comment section sympathising were the very ones who wrote those cruel twitter posts - or even liked a few, in the least. It doesn't matter. I personally just can't stand the hypocrisy.
@@laurac.405 I can't stand the hypocrisy either. There's also the fact that some people have admitted he's not actually ugly, they just think he deserves to be called that because "he's a bad person"
im not even a fan of dream, havent seen a single video of his. his face reveal somehow reached my twitter and i was like “oh, he’s just some guy” but the comments were absolutely ruthless calling him ugly and it kinda made me sad. bcz he’s literally not ugly, just average. and it made me think abt if it were me doing a face reveal for millions of people and they all just talked abt how ugly i was. bcz im also just average. a lot of people are. so its kinda fucked
They’re really not thinking about how shitting on dream will make a lot of average people feel. And it’s brought up briefly that this is an example of unrealistic beauty standards, which is taken pretty seriously now with women, but apparently it’s fine for men. If dream was a woman, there would of course be some incel neck beards hating on her and calling her ugly, but it wouldn’t be the 30k strong Twitter mob it is now. It’s just weird how big this dog pile has gotten.
The exact same thing happened for me lol. But I barely use twitter and didn't see any of the rest. I'm just now learning people are saying they think he's ugly.
same here. it's super super sad, twitter and social media in general has a lot of good aspects but is also very very toxic... and tbh he looks kinda cute ngl it's all about preferences after all... and if you stop liking someone just because of their looks... something is very wrong with you. i hope he's not too damaged by all this.
Probably cause that's the angle he finds most flattering for him.. the same way we stay in one angle for photos, maybe he just stays tht way for the vid
I only support the “I’m body positive until it’s someone I don’t like” movement when the hatred is from me to myself fr. Every other case of that standard pisses me off so much.
lol relatable. Sometimes I don't understand why people body shame, and I think "But they're attractive!" or "they don't even look fat at all", and then I realize that I attack myself for much less...
as other people are saying, the main (if not the only) reason people are calling him ugly is because they dislike him, for a mixture of valid and less valid reasons. what's interesting to me is how this opens up a whole other discussion of how we link morality/'goodness' and physical attractiveness -- which is bullshit, of course; someone can be an amazing person and simultaneously completely unattractive, and someone can be hot as fuck and also the worst person you'll ever meet. but since we use 'ugly' and 'beautiful' as shorthands for 'bad' and 'good' so commonly, the two concepts get mixed up, i feel.
like, i won't say i feel bad for him for anything sans the obtuse fatphobia, but i do worry about how calling problematic people ugly just detracts from a better discussion of the issues at hand (in this case, dream's racist and otherwise problematic actions). like, it gives him a reason to play the victim (which thankfully dream has not done), and overall is just. not the progressive action some people are acting like it is. society neeeeeds to progress past caring so much about what people look like! this whole topic reminds me of this one tumblr post that was like 'don't hate on neckbeards because they're fat and jobless and live with their parents. there's nothing morally wrong with any of those things. hate on them for their sexism and toxicity and other bigotry'. i think people love it when they have the chance to say all the shitty (and often based in some level of fatphobia, ableism etc) insults that they think of when they look at a person, without getting as much backlash because a lot of other people hate the person too.
@@gabitron420 keep in mind he specifically encouraged shipping of irl people as fanfics, fanart, etc including this tumblr sexyman idealization of his image which doesn't excuse what people have been saying but kind of stupidly sets him up to get called ugly. Besides, if he were to have shown his face from the very beginning, I doubt people would be as vicious with his appearance.
This is exactly how I feel- I don’t really like dream I feel there’s a lot of genuine Criticisms you can level about him, but calling him ugly is just counterproductive, I don’t think we should moralize the beauty standards we hold, that never goes well
@@ember9361 i don't really see anything wrong with him being okay with people shipping him with his (also consenting) friends? as for him liking fanart that makes him out to be a tumblr sexyman of sorts (lol), imo that's just the result of fanart making people look more attractive/people liking to draw hot people. i think it gave some fans unrealistic expectations, who in turn gave outsiders unrealistic expectations, but he never really used hot fanart of himself to like, brand himself or whatever, so it wasn't how i ever expected him to look. def agree with that last part tho! no one would care without the mystery lol
i do have to say there's nothing sadder as a fat/curvy person than having your friends and mutuals support body positivity one second and switching it up when there's a bigger person that they don't like, seeing those true colours show hurts alot because you know they probably feel that exact way about you. Edit: Just to add I don't know enough about dream, not a fan, not defending him or any of his controversies. If someone's a shitty person then you've got alot more to work with than their size regardless of who they are. Edit: thank you to everyone commenting with more fatphobia and reminding me ppl will stay in fat/curvy ppls business regardless of if they're healthy or not, stay obsessed w other ppls weight/image, u gotta deal with your own insecurities somehow IG ♥️
Absolutely. People will proclaim body positivity to close friends and to the general world, but as soon as they need to insult someone, it’s immediately attacks on weight, hair loss, facial features, etc. People don’t seem to see their own hypocrisy :(
YES people drop all pretense of progressiveness if it's a bad person doing it. They fail to realize that they're hurting a lot more people than just the individual
I can guarantee you, the people trending HE'S UGLY are for the most part not his fans. I'm sure there's some out there with such wildly unrealistic expectations that they'd be disappointed at whatever he looked like. However, the vast majority of people who shit on his appearance are his haters and random people who've only heard about dream (usually in a negative light) and want to be in on the joke.
Frankly the awful reactions to dreams face reveal is only damaging for completely normal looking people that are deeply insecure about their body/appearance and it just makes me sad
he's not even slightly ugly though, honestly he's just about what i expected him to look like. people are just mean for no reason. honestly i thought we were passed needlessly insulting people's looks, what is this 2013? i don't even like dream, but this is just cruel
i feel even sadder that his fans, tried to support him by saying 'wow your hands are so pretty!' which is true, dude have the most delicate hands i ever see. but goddamn at least pretend to support him properly. he isn't even ugly.
I remember the Jschlatt face reveal, where the opposite happened. I felt like everyone expected him to be a balding overweight middle aged man. So when he wasn’t a bunch of fangirls starting simping for him and calling him cute.
I didn't even know who Dream was. So, totally neutral. And he's not ugly. He does look like a pretty average guy. But man, people aren't going to get future face reveals from people if they keep doing this.
I had no idea what this was about and thought he was playing Dream's son in Sandman or something, and I was super confused because I thought it was good casting, he does look like the character.
genuinely it's shocking we can't critique people without tearing apart their physical appearance. Dream to me has some issues, I don't personally like their impact on the internet in certain aspects [removed for being reductive] But like, none of that is because of this lad's face??? We can't just pick and choose when fatphobia is acceptable. We have to hold ourselves accountable as much as we do famous figures. Good vid, thanks for addressin this
It's obvious that he was self-conscious and kinda anxious before the reveal. Showing your face to 30 mil people is no joke. He probably was insecure about the left side of his face and just wanted to appear the most handsome he can (in his opinion ofc). A lot of youtubers start with this awkward posing, showing only one side of their face. I'm sure that if he continues to make content showing his face he'll become more comfortable with it and it won't look that stiff. We have to give props to this guy for making such a big decision while having this big of media attention
if you were to pass by this dude without knowing he's dream, you wouldn't even think "damn this guy ugly." he's literally just. a guy. people just have too high an expectation of him because of the fanarts💀
just on a side note wasn’t the “leaked photo” proven to be fake? either way great video as always gabi, i loved your take on this! it’s insane that people find a good looking guy “ugly” just because he couldn’t live up to their unrealistic expectations of him looking like a literal anime character, or whatever version/fantasy of him they had created in their own minds…
i don’t watch him but honestly poor guy, no one is equipped to face harassment by millions of people on the internet, but people will get that 10 second dopamine hit on hating someone and then what? they will sit with that hatefulness and insecurity while dream just enjoys his time with his friends, in the end it’s their loss
Thank you so much for touching on the fatphobia that was rampant during the doxxing leak. It rubbed me the wrong way the whole time and certainly made me know what some of my friends really think about fat people 🙃 Anyways, despite my gripes with the dude, the criticizing of his appearance has been way harsher than it needs to be, he literally just looks like a normal dude
Honestly idk what people expected from Twitter. Twitter absolutely hated his guts because of his fans, trending for whatever reason, past tweets (I guess) and the hype given by his friends, the site was just waiting for him to give them a reason to go ballistic on him. Edit: not to say it was nice or correct of people to nuke him lol
@@thatsonyou6093 Eh, the only real solid reason are his god awful Stans. He should’ve just shut them up immediately but that doesn’t mean he deserves the kind of sh*t that twitter put him through by simply existing on the app. And the fact that the largely unjustified hate for him spread to other apps makes me just disappointed.
The only thing that made me chuckled about the face reveal is that Dream obviously knows his best angle. He really doesn't want to turn his head beyond that 35° left. Lol
I seriously don't get it, I think he's very attractive: He is tall, has nice locks, very pretty eyes and a prominent jawline. I just know that RU-vid 2014 and especially tumblr would have absolutely thirsted over him. The only thing irritating me is why he wouldn't look straight into the camera.
The theory that dream used his brother for his other pictures (he has posted quite a few of them with his body in it before) is just something people who hate him and leaked the old picture came up with. There's no proof at all that it is true. Like you said he was quite young in that picture and like 20 in the ones he publicly posted so that's already plenty of time to lose weight
just wanted to make some points The "fat dream" wasn't him, the actual guy in that picture came forward on tiktok and said it was him and not dream and that he thought it was funny. and then for the second one of "dreams brother" it wasn't his brother it's just people making stuff up so they can keep the fat dream narrative in their head, it was dream just taking pictures n shit lol again i know you don't know much about dream or probably care but yeah just wanted to comment cause free platform idk
@@itsgabibelle Gabi, you need to do better research!! This is a continuous problem from you! That whole video about the Christian girls was just satire. Not even asking you to do REAL scientific research, this is basic web check stuff!!
They’ve talked before, he briefly appeared in her music video, so she probably wouldn’t said that joke if she didn’t know it was ok/if they weren’t close. All the same, it’s not a joke that we (fans and non-fans) should make
i’ll never understand people who think they are morally justified in attacking someone’s appearance, even if said person is problematic. it’s extremely counterproductive and makes whatever point you’re trying to make seem less credible. also, dream probably isn’t really seeing what people are saying about him. but you know who is? all the people who kind of look like him and haven’t done anything wrong. since he is such a normal looking guy, there’s probably thousands of people who look somewhat him having to see their facial features be called ugly. even if you think that dream deserves it, all of these other innocent people don’t.

I never understood what problem people had with him. I've never been exposed to him or his content before the reveal and only got wind of "a guy called dream" when the face reveal bombed so hard and when I looked at the video, I became insecure myself because he ... looks good? I mean, he looks like a regular guy, nothing special but certainly not "freakishly ugly", so ... yea, standards seem to be through the roof ever since I was a teenager if THAT is considered "UGLY"
I spent years in the North of France in a Muslim neighbourhood, spent all of my time in a tea/coffee shop. I've met countless shifty guys, 1 of them really stood up, I talked to him for just a minute. As soon as he left, I turned to the bar owner (good friend of mine) and said "who the fµck is that guy, something's odd with him". Bear in mind that some of my best friends back then were dead (shot by police, gangs etc), drug dealers or in jail. Fast forward 3 years later, that guy was front page news for weeks in all of Europe. He was the gang leader of the Bataclan massacre in Paris. That guy showed up, shook my hand, asked me about my beard, I could instantly see on his face he was up to no good. Dream is just like that. I can assure you, we'll see him on front page news for something horrible one day. THAT's what people see when they see him. That's why they find him ugly. If I had to bet, he'll k!ll his mom. That's what I think when I see his face. Don't compare yourself to him, worst example you could have found.
@@SLRModShopDamn and I just thought it was his awful haircut making people think he's ugly lol. I don't get any weird vibes from him, except insecurity vibes.

I feel like it’s just because his head at that stupid angle that made him look like Minecraft steve, like just look at the camera like a normal person…
as someone who's a dream neutral that whole situation gave me a whiplash of both a reality and a internet check. There's so many people who are shitty disgusting creeps I didn't even know about. honestly i had to take a break from twitter because of how unbelievably astonishing it is to have so many horrible people. But I think what really made me worry was the fact he said he was desensitized from it... that isn't normal
There's the concept in art were when the artist releases his work at the public their work no longer belongs to them. And it's funny how now his face has become sort of his image and now everyone can just do and say whatever they want with it because he decided to show it. Hope he manages well the situation now and sees that this is the definition of what people considers "trolling" (witch it's basically bullying now but whatever)
Hi Gabi I'm from Jordan I know you since I was teaching in the UAE and now I'm in the US, you're my favourite RU-vidr in planes to watch, spending time with your channel is amazing, please make longer stuff, do movies and stuff
He looks normal, it's just really weird having a face to match the voice. I don't think any face would've looked normal after listening to him for 4 years.
The irony of wearing a mask so no one can scrutinize your appearance only for everyone to scrutinize your appearance way more than usual bc you got so popular and wore a mask for so long lmao

Thankfully dream himself couldn’t care less about any of the hate. He didn’t face reveal for notoriety, he did it so that he could finally enjoy going out with his friends and making all the kinds of content he’s been wanting to make (fun fact, dream never planned on being faceless). I know nothing about Dream (other than the fact that he never showed his face). If I saw him on the street or in a coffee shop I'd definitely think that he's an average looking cute guy. There is nothing wrong with being average.
I think the major sad part of all of it was that picture of dream that went around when he had more weight on and was younger. He denied it was him for so long and I know he was afraid people would judge him. I really think the face reveal showed how insecure and afraid he was of judgement; hence the angle and awkwardness. I often think he probably spent so much time getting himself ready to look his best for that video.. and then everyone just called him ugly anyway. He definitely hit the gym, ate better, styled his hair in a way he thought would look nice.. man idk I just can’t help but feel bad as a former bullied little kid. It’s just awful how pack mentality on the internet works.
Exactly, you could definitely tell how awkward and insecure he felt all because of the way he angled his face. Him taking it off like that, you know he practiced taking the mask off in the mirror to find his best angle, instead of just being nonchalant about it he looked awkward and kinda cringey. Also the haircut is what is really making people think he looks ugly, he has a good looking face and I'd bet a million dollars if he changed his haircut, he'd look a million times better.
Never thought I'd hear "wholesome" and "dream's fandom" (you know the people who are known for racism, doxxing, and death threats) in the same sentence
The people who had unrealistic expectations of him are gonna be super disappointed in the real world. It's not gonna be good for them when they realize no one looks like movie stars all the time.
Ive been into the storyline that started on the dsmp in 2020 and I’ve only stuck around bc I wanna see how the lore ends but since I hopped on in early 2021, I’ve grown to dislike Dream not only bc of his personality but the way he reacts to things. He’s extremely parasocial with his audience and reacts badly to controversy to the point where every single one he’s been part of he’s made himself look like an idiot and by a certain point when the heat dies down he tweets out to his private echo chamber “love you guys💕” wins his obsessed fans hearts over and goes about as if the controversy never happened in the first place. And it’s not even like petty shit, he straight up said doxxing isn’t as bad as everyone says it is bc “what are the chances of someone going out to find you and hurt you” uh, a fucking SWAT team maybe. People do it all the time on streamers Also some recent shit came out about Dream being a groomer and I haven’t kept up with the updates but both his responses are so fucking terrible that people picked it apart about found lies in the twt longer he posted to his private Twitter. The first twt he made where he initially addressed the controversy he acted all whiny saying “people are just tryna ruin my LA trip” if Dream is a manipulator, then he’s really good at manipulating his devote fans into defending him against groomer allegations
Yeah he put out a pretty good video on the situation and the actual accuser has come forward to say that the allegations are false. By now, people are just grasping at straws to hate the guy.
I'm not part of the dreamsmp fanbase or minecraft at all, but my friend is super into it. She seemed excited about it. I also saw someone I follow calling him a bad person but they are yet to explain why they think that.
people just try to pick apart anything that anyone in the spotlight says. they find reasons to hate the dream smp or create fake reasons to. obviously sometimes there’s valid criticism but most of the things i’ve experienced the past few years that have blown up were just faked or things that haters dug up from years prior. most of the dsmp content creators apologise for anything that comes up and better themselves. also a lot of people just like to hate on the fanbase for dumb reasons
I think it doesn't help that he's often linked to George, who is an objectively above-average looking guy. That might have made him feel even more insecure than he already was bc he was probably afraid they'd be compared. I also know there's a huuuge shipping community in that fandom who have probably had their fantasies crushed.
regarding the fatphobia, apparently that picture wasn't even him and when it leaked the guy in the pic made a video/post saying it was him, so i can't imagine how he must be feeling right now with this. (i don't have a link for the video as it's something i saw on twitter and am not sure about...)
I cannot imagine the pure trauma of being overweight, losing that much of it and then when you're at that point you worked so hard for- the entire internet calls you ugly. That must've been so life changingly awful. I'm someone who lost 70 pounds and is treated drastically differently again after gaining back, but i can't imagine how bad my self esteem would've been if everyone said i was disgusting at that point.
Fatphobia and insulting people’s appearance doesn’t suddenly become okay if it’s a person you don’t like. Even for really bad people it just sends the message that that’s how you actually feel about fat/“ugly” people and you only pretend to care about it at other times. (I don’t know anything about dream, but I know making fun of politicians appearances is very common if you disagree with their policies)
The only thing weird about his face is that we never see it from the front. Dude is in 3/4 mode the whole time like the fish in spongebob lol. Otherwise He's pretty normal looking. And I only like to joke abt his stance cuz I think it's a pretty easy fix. Just...turn...a bit... to the right...that's all lol
Right?? That angle is on purpose too, it tells you he practiced taking the mask off in the mirror in different angles and poses. He's trying way too hard and that screams insecurity and the internet will come after any weakness and insecurity like blood thirsty sharks.
It's interesting coming at this from the perspective of a straight man (who doesn't have a vendetta against Dream), who doesn't use much social media. I don't tend to view people with the unrealistic standards that are pushed in the media. And, being straight, I'm also not biased based on my personal attraction, so to me Dream looks like a very attractive man, quite a bit above average. But then, I also believe that people are VERY rarely ugly, and most people are at least somewhat attractive. Though, if I looked like Dream, I definitely wouldn't think I'm attractive. But that's just my massive self-esteem issues talking.
“Dream historian” sounds like a dope career. Not referring to studying the history of the RU-vidr called Dream lol, but the history of dreams in general, or people’s individual dream histories should probably be a thing
Even if he was ugly there’s no reason for people to roast him for something he can’t control, but the guy is perfectly normal looking, if not on the handsome side
All the 13 year old girls were just expecting him to be the classic eboy with lots of cool tattoos and cool gray hair and lots of random piercings, and when they didn’t receive that they freaked out 💀 everyone on twitter is weird and that’s why I refuse to use it
The thing is: Why is he showing only one side of his face? Looks like that gravity falls episode where dipper investigate a man that only shows the left side of his face
With how confident and cocky he is, I just expected a man like Vinnir Hacker ngl. He is the only reason for people expecting more than what he actually is. Like you said he hyped that shit like he had nothing to be scared of
I’m a skinny guy and would have people make comments about how skinny I am and literally grab me to show how skinny I am. Gaining weight can be hard too. People just need to mind their business!
Alllllll the time. Always been scrawny as hell no matter how much I eat. In high school I remember quite a few times people walking up and putting their hands around my waist like "ohhh i can allllmost touch" and laughing like it was the funniest shit ever. That's the sort of shit that had me swimming with a shirt on for the longest because I was uncomfortable with my ribs being noticeable. If you must make fun of someone, don't make fun of something like their body, that can't be easily changed.
it's hilarious how everyone clowned on him he's racist, ableist, and now exposed for being a groomer. i literally don't care that people are laughing at him. ALSO HE GOT JUMPED AND I GIGGLED
I’ve been a fan of dream for a while now and I wanted to clarify some stuff (it’s long sorry) -re: his problematic past, I do agree that some of the stuff he said in the past where harmful and no one can force anyone to forgive him for that, but I wanted to point out that he did apologize for a lot of that stuff multiple times and even talked with his fanbase on how he could better his behavior, to this day he hasn’t repeated any of that awful behavior and while I can’t be 100% sure if he changed because I don’t know him irl obviously I trust that he did and also respect that he never promoted those harmful behaviors in his Chanel where a lot of his younger fanbase is. -re: fanart, yes a lot of the fanart didn’t depicted him realistically 😭, but the artist were working with very general ideas of what he described he looked like (blond, green eyes, tall lmao) so i think from an outside perspective it looked like “oh dream stans we’re setting unrealistic expectations and hated his real face!!” while inside the fandom circle it was more like “we are working with what we have” and even the creators in the same sphere that have shown their face are also drawn as “kawaii guys” 😭, and as you showed most artist were happy to change their design after the face reveal I really liked your video! Just wanted to bring more context from people that don’t know
Thank you for being the only RU-vidr I’ve seen discuss this without also dedicating like 25% of the video to “well actually Dream is a bad person and here’s reasons why he actually deserved to be harassed on this massive scale”. I don’t even watch him or follow his stuff, but seeing EVERYONE attacking the dude for several days straight just for showing his face was sort of horrific; even if you don’t like the dude’s content that sort of appearance shaming is uncalled for.
He doesn’t look like a troll that has been living under a bridge, but he doesn’t look like the flawless fanfic god they all imagined him to be either so that’s the problem I guess lmao
God the internet brings out true cruelty in so many people. Firstly, I’d actually say he’s a good looking guy, not that it matters. Secondly, I hope that everyone calling him ugly is model worthy, because otherwise they’re hypocrites. I’ve never even heard of him before this video, but poor guy, I hope this doesn’t mess him up to bad…
I always find it weird when people make a huge deal about their face reveals, like putting themselves up for failure by hyping up this basic thing to an extent to the point you almost think that the person behind the camera was an alien or something. PS he should have changed that hairstyle knowing damn well he will be compared to shart damnson (I'm joking also kinda not)
The weirdest thing about the face reveal to me was the like, videos of him FaceTiming other content creators leading up to it and their filmed reactions of like Omg!! To build hype Like there’s nothing wrong w the way he looks but he truly helped build up a lot of fanfare
@@gabbieh5680 In gabis video she has a screenshot of dream being pretty racist, and he also defended someone who was abusing their cat, as well as he also said the r slur and told everyone how he thought it was so stupid that people get offended from it. He has also made an edit of the triple k and told fans it was okay to ship the dsmp people without their consent.
@@Fancynancydude ah, at the time i wrote/posted the comment i hadn’t gotten that far into the video but i’ve seen it now, thanks for explaining further too
He’s a handsome dude I just couldn’t care less about face reveals. It’s such a 2015 thing 🤣. My opinion wouldn’t change about him whether his face was out there or not.
i don't really have a positive impression of him (i don't even know why but I've just benty heard positive things about him lol) but my only thought on his face reveal is "well that sure is a normal looking guy, anyway"
