The Awful Inhumans - Caravan Of Garbage 

An actual garbage in the Caravan of Garbage? Somehow this feels wrong.

You can absolutely tell this is Ike Perlmutter’s baby. It’s all about how the lower classes need to stay in their lane and not upset the power structure.

I am going to selfishly request that you finish the Inhumans miniseries in order to save myself and others from having to subject ourselves to it just to know what happens. It is a noble sacrifice. I believe you two can do it. Your years of training have prepared you for this.

My favourite part of this was the flash back to the "bad guy" and his brother and in the flash back when they are like 8 years old, they are wearing tiny versions of their future clothes. Like they have worn the same exact design of awkward over designed black leather clothes their whole life.

The scene where Medusa gets her hair cut off actually made me burst out laughing. I know it was supposed to be dark, traumatic and degrading...but the way it was done was just pure unintentional comedy gold.

Imagine being Scott Buck, you get access to not one but two different Marvel properties, Iron Fist and Inhumans, and you manage to fuck up both of them.

I love how Karnak is played by one inch spikes guy from X-Men: The Last Stand. It feels right.

There is one thing in those first few episodes that was genuinely funny: when Medusa is yelling over the little wrist watch communicator or whatever at Black Bolt, and he just looks at it and frowns. Like, what is he supposed to do, answer you and destroy the entire island?

The wierd and funny thing is that Agents of Shield, the show that was the first to feature the Inhumans and still featured them all the way to the final season was criminally underrated as whole and wrote its Inhumans and the storyline for them really really well. It truly is a great show that more people need to watch. I don't know how the people marvel messed up inhumans when Agents of shield absolutely smashed it with them.

Meanwhile agents of SHIELD did justice to inhumans like 12 million times better than this show even tho it wasn't their main story arc

I want more Inhumans! Wait, let me rephrase: I want more James and Mason talking about the existing episodes. In no way should there be anymore episodes of this made.

The villain in this series basically wants to end slavery. Edit: I'm surprised this has gotten this many thumbs ups. Inhumans the blemish on a franchise which has nothing else that I dislike, not even Iron Fist. The only things I liked about Inhumans are Lockjaw and Maximus.

Agents of shield did a much better inhuman story

It took me 16 minutes to realise the mute guy was black bolt.

Me: "How could anyone think the character trying to end systemic classism and exploitation should be the villain and the incompetent autocrats should be the heroes? Especially when the class system is mostly based on nepotism, not merit (because obviously the people with the better powers could mine better and faster; Black Bolt's disintegration voice vs can''t-hold-tools Crabhands,) and its clear living on the moon is unnecessary; that the class system is just used as a cudgel against the unfortunate, and that the 'villain' seems genuinely concerned with that plight of the kingdom, its people and its future?" Me: [Finds out about Ike Perlmutter] "Ahh I see."

Marvel should eventually reboot the Inhumans and just ignore this series.

Throughout the show, I kept thinking "Extra points for dumbass that your King is mute, and you have wristband phones that somehow communicate better than anything on Earth, but no one thought up Texting, or even a good text to speech program? How is this still a limitation for Black Bolt??"

I still can’t believe they made a show in which most viewers will route for the villain and side against all the “heroes” Like imagine if this was from Maximus POV trying to take them down, while the avengers seem to side with the inhumans since they help out and don’t want war

Creative: We never imagined how expensive it would be to animate Medusa's hair during this series. Disney: Just cut it all off. Then give all executives a raise and layoff park work workers.

The actors weren't that bad. It was just the writing, and directing, and makeup, and hair, and costumes that sucked.

Agents of Shield did their inhumans storyline so well that I was looking forward to this when it was announced. Then it came out.

Wife and I tried watching this when it was on TV. We made it like 25 minutes, but part of that was looking for batteries for the TV remote.

This looks like one of those Marvel projects from the 80's that they try to keep buried.

I actually did watch this whole series. I would highly recommend that you finish it. Because it's awful and we'll enjoy your reactions.

Worth noting, the police response time to Black Bolt stealing a suit is incredible, like he had just done it, walks outside, and the cops roll up.

Seeing Black Bolt in that stupid costume in M.O.M. actually makes me want a good Inhumans show lol.

I find it interesting that when people mention "worst Marvel" Inhumans doesn't come up. For shows, people will mention Iron Fist or maybe one of the S2 Netflix shows but everyone forgets InHumans exists. It's so bad, that we don't even remember it. I can't blame them. Everyone in the show is absolutely pants-on-head dumb. I essentially stopped where you guys did, after being captured by the police. And, I get that cops are usually portrayed as bumbling Barney Fife but being from Hawaii, this irked me to no end. If there's one thing police in Hawaii are well aware of, it's foreigners who might not understand what they're saying. It's Hawaii. Tourism central. Surely the police would've noticed "hey, this guy can't understand us. Lets get a translator here." Sure, BlackBolt is from the moon but the fact that they didn't even try is just..blah. That was it for me. I mean, I know it seems like a poor point to end it on but that was in addition to everything else.

He put on a brave face to promote it but even Anson Mount knew that he was starring in a turkey. I am more convinced than ever that the people at Marvel Television deliberately botched this show just to get Ike Perlmutter off their backs. I knew that it was going to end in tears when the VFX Supervisor for Agents of SHIELD said on Twitter that the Inhumans TV show was being done without the involvement of anyone from AoS. Madness. But you learn the hard way.

While Mason was describing his Original YA Series Concept I was _waiting_ for some kind of reveal like "and the evil oppressive elite are actually the good guys who we're supposed to be rooting for", but it went on for so long and so many layers were added that I was _sure_ that couldn't POSSIBLY be what the deal actually was. The Inhumans, what can I say about this show that wasn't already said, it pretty much killed the reputation of the Inhumans. The Inhuman Royal has been tarnished by Ike Perlmutter, Jeph Loeb, and... The guy I wanted to give a second chance after Season 1 of Iron Fist, Scott Buck... Christ, man ruined two "I" Marvel properties, and Dexter. Let's round up the horribleness: Black Bolt can destroy a building with a whisper, can fly, can energize his body to enhance his strength... The show gives him a slightly dangerous voice. Medusa, has indestructible ever growing hair... Gets shaved off early in the show and doesn't do anything else, cause budget. Crystal, has control of all four elements, Marvel's Avatar, with a unique Kirby hair clip... the show makes her spend time in her apartment, then hangs out with teens. Karnak, can perceive any weakness, can hit pressure points and a master tactician... Bump on the head, can't use that power. Gorgon, incredible strength, and hooves that grant him seismic charge slams... Well, he has that, but they try to drown him, hangs out with surfer's, then they kill him for a bit. Triton, He's a fish man, and he's rad... He's rad here, but he's already in this, so that's a blessing. Lockjaw, he looks fine all things considered, but he's stuck in a barn for most of it, cause budget. Maximus... Can mind control people, and is literally called, "Maximus the Mad"... He's a no powered sane Ramsey Bolton. Sorry for the rant, I have LOTS to say, because Jack Kirby and Stan Lee put some thought into this, and hopefully, Ms. Marvel can redeem them, with a fresh reboot... So anyway, give us another episode, so I can rant some more lol

I was working at a Comic Book store when this series was still in the planning stages and a guy came in and bought all the Inhumans books we had. Come to find out he was one of the producers and didn't have a clue who the Inhumans even were... Said he should probably know something about the characters. He even gave my friend his card,,, Guess we should've sold him more back issues....

I guess Agents of Shield has covered enough inhuman territory to help get us into Ms. Marvel's origin. Let's forget the Inhumans show ever happened.

I watched the whole thing... I kept rooting for Maximus for the entire series, even in the last episode or two where I think the writers realized "oh shit... maybe we should remind the audience he's supposed to be bad" and have him threaten to attack and take over Earth or whatever. (It's been a few years.) I was still rooting for him when compared to the "good guys".

I saw the trailer and said to my wife: they will cut medusa's hair off to save money...and they did. Its like this trend of making batman shows without batman....REDUNDANT.

I actually finished the whole series. It doesn’t get much better. The fact they nerfed Medusa in the beginning was infuriating.
