@legbreaker2762 anything beyond tremors 4 was the dip from the practical effects with minor CGI to just full blown CGI. Some graboids were practically alien like. Also some of the later plot points felt very shoe horned without much of that redneck humor.

Burt was the best character in more ways than one. If they do a "oh he's still alive, even though we said he's dead.", I won't be mad because it's well up Burt's alley to survive being eaten, thrown off a cliff and exploded.

It makes me laugh to look back and think “Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward made the movies” and then Bacon didn’t come back… then Ward didn’t come back “Mr. Goober” (that was his real life sister by the way just messing with him which was why he had that reaction) seriously held both series together but I want to see the episodes they DID make with Bacon but never released

One thing I hadn't noticed until watching this for the umpteenth time: In addition to the change in crew, I feel like this franchise actually suffered from the improvements of camera technology. Seeing everything look clearer and sharper in the newer movies feels weird to me.

There are so many things that made this character great. One of my favorites has to be that Burt Gummer is such a 180 degree departure from the other role Michael Gross is famous for: Steven Keaton. The family ties joke was a nice touch.

I grew up with the tremors films, for me as a kid, that was sorta my very own spongebob, i could've watched something else, but i decided to just keep rewatching tremors films over and over, to the point i can quote each of the films scripts in my head. Which may or may not have, led to me becoming a bit of a "gun nut".

What am I even witnessing. XD This is awesome. It's wild how a horror flick like Tremors spun itself over the course of its sequels into basically "The Adventurers of Shooty McParanoid & Friends". I guarantee nobody foresaw Mike's very Nevada-trope character becoming The Main Character (with an equally memey and eventually gun-crazed ancestor to justify it). Ahhhh, my childhood. While I can't speak of the quality of the later movies I can say this fantastic song did a great job covering them in gold paint. If you only knew their existence from the song they don't sound as bad haha Michael Grosse really had to carry this series on his back. I hope he's happy with the results because he's honestly a joy to watch
