That "Hamantha was finally a star" hit me harder than the bullet hit her

Yay!!! A lot of reactors always react to the short version of the song, but this has a lot more story

So, here is my seeing of the video: Hamantha was a child with a disease within her, she dreamed of being a worldwide star (or just a star) She got bullied for being non-normal, her father got mad and shot the sky. The lyric “A straight bullet shot by her father “ means the bullet he shot and gravity mad the bullet come down and kill her. The father must had called the hospital after he accidentally shot his daughter. They said that she was dead, and I/we can see that the doctor was a cannibal person that ATE her. Even if Hamantha was alive, the doctor would had tricked her into making her die or kill her so he can eat. so that’s what I see of the song.

The Ballad of Hamantha had such an impact on me first time I heard it, this song is one of the very few songs that make me actually cry, I love this song so much that I bought Jack's merch, a shirt, with a graphic of her head inside a heart, thank you Jack, for the amazing music, and thank you guys for the great and insightful reactions :)

I'd heard this song many times, but never really listened to the lyrics till I saw this animation a few years ago. Now every time the song comes up in my playlist, I skip it because I know I'll start crying. 😂

I think this is how it went: Hamantha was a kid born with a very rare disease which made her head look like a ham. She had a normal life and was cute, but she hated how she looked. One day, she got a call from her doctor saying he had a cure, but he really wanted to eat her. The father and mother got divorced bc of the disease and the father took care of her, one day, the father shot a bullet at the sky, praying to the gods. Hamantha ran to the doctors, but on the way, the bullet came down and hit her in the head. The father did not know that this would happen, but when it did, he took her to the hospital right away When the doctor confirmed her death, he decided to eat her now she lives as a star. I know I’m four years late, but here’s the full story so a girl name her. Samantha was born with a condition. She wasn’t really a ham, but her condition made her look like a ham and she just really wanted to be famous and she wanted to be an actor, but since she looked like that and wanted to take her in and Her father Felt bad for her because she was crying after what happened in the school so he was so upset that his daughter felt that way, and he God for the way she looks and all of a sudden she got a call from the doctor saying he had a cure but the doctor he ate his patience so he wasn’t really gonna cure her. He was just gonna eat her after she died he was planning to kill her in the operating room anyway, but since the bullet that the father shot said gravity exist, when she ran out there, the bullet fell down and it went straight through her head

I suppose I’ll just let you know whenever a new Repose is released, which one just was
