Gather round riders, and let me share with you 'The Ballad of the RAM Rally'.
If you've ever wondered 'What is a RAM Rally?', you're going to want to check this out. A few weeks ago I took my 2023 Kawasaki KLR 650 and participated in my first RAM Rally in the Imbil State Forest. Starting at the Kenilworth Hotel, my team and I headed out into the forest, to claim as many GPS points as possible. On our adventure bikes, we got to make creek crossings, climb mountains, jump whoaboys, gravel roads, go off road with some twin track and single track, hop logs and more. It was a great trip, and a great way to spend a weekend on an adventure motorcycle!

Haha very entertaining ... that was me gave up riding at 30 then recently bought for my 60th birthday..the new KLR650 Adventure for the exact same reasons... ADVENTURE😊

On a serious note, ute appeared to be indicating... that one might be on your mate 😂. I had nearly the exact same off through a greasy muddy puddle that I didn't catch (too fast on dirt and sticky beaking around) snapped my little Rjays top box off too. Carry some little ratchet straps, they're life savers.

Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story! But yes, the ute was indicating right, but pulled off the road to the left without indicating, making my mate think he was fine to go past. Luckily my mates had some straps to put the box back together. It was the end of me drinking water for the day though. I be now own a set that come everywhere with me, and a Camelback for water.

You got 3k from your factory tires and still going? That’s awesome. I got to 3k and they were absolutely finished. The rear at least. The front wasn’t too bad. I have two tyre videos coming out soon.

As an Australian, describing 35°C as a heatwave brings shame to us all and our legends. If I could draw your attention to chapter 69 (nice), section 11 sub section 32 point 12 of the Playbook for Australians as Approved by ASIO and the Federal Government edition 9 2019-2026 - "as an Australian either travelling abroad or who's reach may include those from other nations it is your responsibility to perpetuate the toughness of the rugged Aussie by maintaining that any temperatures lower than 40°C is a "cold snap" and that room temperature is on average 50°C in the shade" Mate, I like ya, but I don't want to have to raise this with Keeper of the Tome - Les Hiddens... you know how he gets

Hahahahah fair play. However, it is Queensland, where that was 35C plus around 90% humidity!
