The best metal song about playing hide & seek I know of - but they are playing with an Oni (a Japanese ogre) which is the growling voice asking things like "Are you ready" to which the only correct response has to be "Maada da yo" (No, not yet) while doing a running away from an Oni dance. Kami Band (in order of solos) for this one Takayoshi Ohmura, Leda Cygnus, BOH and Hideki Aoyama.

For me this is a perfect Babymetal song: happy and cheerful, but also heavy and brutal. Simple to get into, but also very intricate. And energetic as hell!!!

This is probably my favorite Babymetal song. The breakdown combined with the little dance is the best part haha (aside from the opening of course)

DUDE! Yes! You finally got to this jam! 🤘🦊. This was one of the first 3 songs that got me hooked and set me on my journey down the Fox Hole back in 2019. This song has Everything in it. Sick solo opening, growling, the teen ladies energetic dancing, crowd chanting, united clapping, Headbanging, and you know there was circle pit happening.

The recurring "Maada da yo" call from Yui and Moa in this song means "Not ready yet!" Some of their cutest choreography in this one. : ) BABYMETAL added a legit Metal backing band as soon as their producer Koba was able to convince the higher ups at Amuse, Inc. to let him go for it. There was an interview with bassist BOH a few years ago, when he talks about Koba's instructions to the band when he first put them together. It was, "Don't hold back because they are "Idols". Don't hold back because they are girls."
