Yes!! The way his expression change afyer kate blamed herself. I just want someone to comfort kate. She was sooo alone. She was in the closet..no one care for her but blame for for everything when she is just a girl trying her very best for the limited space n choice that they had during that time period for her family. @@gabyviana6651 As much as I was rooting for Kate and Anthony, Edwina's anger (and that comment) was more than valid, in my opinion, especially when you consider that they were raised and bonded with one another as full sisters. The last person Edwina expected that deep of a betrayal from was her sister. Kate definitely had her reasons, they should have been communicated. Half truths are only going to breed confusion and resentment.

@@diamcole Edwina was not betrayed by her sister, quite the opposite. Kate cared too much which was why she put Edwina's happiness way above her own and it was why she did not tell Edwina about her own feelings for Anthony. She was NOT lying.

And Anthony's dad with the ring. It wouldn't come off of Kate's finger. He was trying to tell Anthony that that ring belongs to Kate! :)

True and I still don't like how the script writer made her say ' half-sister'. Like that was Kate's Biggest fear that she does not belong to this family and that she owns them for loving her.

@@mariarivadeneira3360 I think he was angry at Kate for previously saying that what they had was merely lust and nothing else. At that point Anthony already knew he was in love so for her to brush the feelings away so easily hurt him. Him saying the thorn line was him being angry but also trying to convince himself that Kate didn’t mean anything to him. And later when he finds her in the closet you can see he’s trying to be angry at Kate but the moment Kate says she ruined Edwinas life his whole act crumbles and he’s back to being the love fool we know and he even wants to comfort her.

@@ferny7328 idk I still think this whole thing could have been avoided if Anthony never proposed. I love Kate and Anthony but there were times I wished Anthony apologized for the things he did to her. Like proposing in front of her even if it was a dumb mistake and I don’t think he ever gave her an explanation as to why. As far as Kate knew she probably thought he had more feelings toward Edwina lol. Also, I don’t think Kate begged him to marry her sister to hurt him bc remember her family needs the dowry and for Anthony to try and call off the wedding they’re basically screwed. As well saying “our paths will never cross” or “it’ll be like we’ve never even met” hurt kate a lot. When she said no and begged him to go through with it she was thinking of her family but she also didn’t want to break her sisters heart.

@@mariarivadeneira3360 oh for sure Anthony had me screaming most of the season hopefully we get a resolve in season 3. As for Kate begging Anthony to marry Edwina she obviously didn’t say it to hurt him but thats part of their miscommunication neither one of them was ever direct they touched upon a feeling here and there but never made it clear that it was love. Anthony didn’t realize that he’d hurt her by saying they’d go there separate ways just like she didn’t realize she’d hurt him by begging him to marry Edwina. He thought he was doing them a favor by putting distance between them but Kate forcing him to go through with the wedding was painful because to him she was basically saying their feelings for one another aren’t that intense or significant. That’s why he looks so shocked when she says “you cannot do this to my sister,” he thought she was their to talk about them and there feelings because he thought she also felt love for him. We obviously know Kate was just putting Edwina first because Ed claimed to love him but Anthony doesn’t know that. So they’re both really bad at communicating neither one was trying to hurt each other but they still did and Anthony was just angry with her until he realized she was blaming herself for everything.
