Rock solid? Well, not at 8:12 - 8:20 , 8:02 - 8:03 , around 8:33 wtf It doesn't matter much for an act like the Bangles, but this is not solid (I know - could have been technical issues, Susanna Hoffs is obviously struggling with her in ear the whole time)

@@Retfie719hmmm… i’m a drummer, and I’m not hearing anything wonky with the rhythm section at those time stamps that you mentioned, other than the typical “song doesn’t sound exactly the same as the record because it’s live” thing. I've gotten to meet Vicki and Annette quite a few times. Both do a lot of charity work for orphanages. You wont find two nicer people in the world. I think Debbi is just as nice, but she's more out of the spotlight. You make a great point. None of these ladies and that goes for Micki as well, has ever done anything to give the band a black eye or bad name.

It's really amazing how a lot of these bands or musicians who are all strung out talk big. Cry about world peace or helping out. Then someone like the Bangles who have lived a clean lifestyle and actually do help out charities and those who need it. They don't try to talk big about it or just get a spotlight on them. These women are true role models like @edgarfrank5712 said. @@AmyProckingHard

No doubt about it. Just like when the four of them met up in a garage in 1981. Obviously Vicki and Debbi were the only ones who knew each other, since they were sisters. They did the dirty work together. Going on some rough tours where stuff was being thrown at them and working the small clubs. They put out an awesome EP though. Almost 40 years later, they keep it going!

This old music is just awesome. To see the Bangles run full circle and have Annette back at the end of their career is just awesome! In 1981, four girls answered ads put out by Vicki and Susanna. They met in a California garage. Even though Annette left right before they hit it big, she comes back and joins them when Michael leaves. Here they are playing together again, almost 40 years after they first met up in a garage on a California night. That can't be said for a lot of bands. Much less one with four women. Thanks for the great music Susanna, Vicki, Debbi, and Annette. These ladies could be doing anything else they want to be, but are instead still playing great music! Don't forget, these four also made a new album together in 2018. The Paisley Underground. Great stuff.

@@danthefan5378 Annette actually was part of two music movements at the same time. The Paisley Underground with the Bangles and the Cow Punk movement with her band Blood on the Saddle. Great Concert! The drummer and bass player are damn good. Anyone that knows about how important a rhythm section is. Every song, they are on it! I think Vicki said the bass player is the original one that started the band with them. I guess they have some kind of chemistry there. The harmonies still sound amazing. Not bad for all these ladies being in their 60's. A very underrated and underappreciated band. I hope they get their day in the light soon. It doesn't look like they've played since and since they asked their founding bass player back for this; you have to wonder if this will be the final Bangles concert in history. They said last November both Susanna Hoffs and Annette Zilinskas performed for the Big Star 50th Anniversary. Both have great photos with each other on their Instagram pages, but I can't find any footage anywhere. You can tell those two have a special bond from the messages they post on each ones page and the smiles when performing.

This live performance will probably remain a kind of ‘the Rooftop Concert at 3 Savile road (London)‘ of the female Beatles. ❤👋 Of course I hope I'm wrong and see them play together again.

Yep, these very four met up through a pair of ads. Annette the bass player called Sue. Sue called Vicki's roommate ad, but Vicki picked up the phone. The stuff of legends.

Being a pro musician myself, I appreciate good vocals and harmonies even more so than the music behind them, and The Bangles deliver the goods on both. Thoroughly enjoyed this show!

Back in the 80s they were dismissed by many as a "passing fad". Wrong! They still rock, and they're still getting better. And Hoffs without high heels or make-up is still hotter than most of the top female vocalists out there.
