@@sandywaddell4303 She's effortless at conveying a complexity of emotions. Every single scene she's in benefits from her presence. And yeah her acting 'chemistry' with John Spencer was off the charts.
I saw on Broadway years ago in The Lion in Winter, playing my favorite part, my favorite historical woman, the part I want to play one day: Eleanor of Aquitaine. She was utterly magnificent.
"You have a big brain, a good heart and an ego the size of Montana." 😆 "You don't have the power to fix everything. *whispers* But I do like watching you try."
Abbey: And I concede I was wrong about the thing. Jed: Good. Abbey: However... Jed: No, no "however," just be wrong. Just stand there in your wrongness, & be wrong, & get used to it. :D
I never thought I'd see a better performance from Ms. Channing than the one in "Six Degrees of Separation." Then I saw the "The West Wing." The character of Jed Bartlett would be nothing without this wife.
the plan is to make 10 minute episodes (cliff notes version of each episode throughout all seven seasons and character videos (like the bartlets) from each season. As well as taking requests (like I did with the bartlets) Keep checking back and thanks for visiting
I even love the music for this! I loved it when it came out & I loved the 2 back-to-back reruns each night after it ended. Loved the cast! Loved Leo, Bartlet & Josh, Toby, Charlie & Stockard Channing the most! ♥️🙏🏼 Hated when John Spencer passed.
"A fever could be life-threatening." Stockard Channing is masterful here. You can see the terrible weight of it, made even worse by her knowledge as a doctor. As she says later regarding the MS: "Do you have any idea how good a doctor I am, and I can't tell you why (MS happens)".
@@iandhr1 I love those two lines in the skullduggery between things said to children by their parents to win affection. "Well, okay, you can have a third Halloween candy, but don't tell Dad." .. "Two scoops of ice cream and whipped cream? Okay, but don't tell Mom."
Right now I am in one of these fights that end a relationship. And if my relationship survives I am gonna send this video to my sweetheart as a tutorial on how we should fight.
Aspects of it did leak out from time to time. I remember early in his tenure him joking how she was giving him hell for still being a smoker. The conversation definitely had that "my wife is going to kick my ass later" vibe to it.
I just picture Trump telling that kid on the US Navy tender ship (who btw, dies, because its mentioned in a later episode the ship sank) all about how hes treated so unfairly by the "fake news media".
Imagine loving a show borne of literature, culture, and the spoken/written English language and 80% of the comments having grammatical/spelling errors. tl:dr get off my lawn.
I actually think the scenes in which the couple is split apart doing their own thing are far more interesting than when they are together. I just didn’t see any chemistry between the two actors.
