Except it’s not because every dealer marks them up to 40k, I tried getting one at msrp for 3 months and couldn’t do it so I got a 2015 335 instead and don’t regret my decision one bit lol that car isn’t worth more than 30k
If it was an inline-4 engine I would have bought it when I first test drove it. Also for some reason the “blinker arm” is so light it’s ridiculously easy to flip it from left to right and same the other way. No resistance at all, would have driven me insane.
Subaru came out with the brz in 2013 and teamed up with Toyota to make the gr 86 in 2015 which is why it has a boxer engine and the brz is cheaper so just get that because Subaru dealers can’t sell above msrp it’s a company policy
@@kittenmeow7092 true, but developed.from the 1jz which is partially Yamaha, so not entirely Toyota plus the sequential turbo was made in coop with Hitachi, its not an engine but still part of the powertrain.
It's a Subaru, don't tinker around with engine, It will blow up on you unless the shop doing the mods know boxer engines well and have no association with donut media.
wish it was a regular inline 4, boxers are so difficult to make power from and maintenance is such a chore on them. i love the look of the car but its just so so close to what it couldve been
Nice car. I am tied to two vehicles right now, but this is going on my list for a 3rd car. Hyundai Elantra N or Toyota GR86. I am also waiting to see the dodge line up with the Inline 6.

It's really predictable around corners... proceeds to drive normally around a corner like any other car. Well, I guess he is not lying. It drove predictably around that corner. So good review.

You can get alike content and not watch the channel

From someone who has a manual camaro and a automatic camaro, you have to be really into racing to get that manual to actually go faster then a automatic transmission

My boy just got one actually for only 10k he bought it from auction with only 800 miles on it 842 I think it’s at i could be wrong it could be less but the car was bought by a man who was taking the dealership up on there offer where if you bought the car they give you a free admission to take it on a track and track drive the car bc that’s what it’s marketed at well he took it out on the track after a week of owning it and blew the motor on the first lap around the track and the worst part is even tho Toyota told him he could drive it on the track and that it was meant for it the car did not hold up and they blamed the guy saying he drove the car way to hard and it’s not there fault bc they said the car was supposed to be driven easier well my buddy’s grandfather just bought a new motor for it and replaced it and now he has one for way under retail and not gonna lie it’s a nice car but it’s honestly just a Toyota version of a genisis or BRZ

Awww hell nah, you just gonna be the clown of the group for buying a slow muscle car. 28k msrp is a bargain, tackles corners like a champ, car handles extremely well, steering is phenomenal, gear box is phenomenal, its very practical for a sports coupe, decently brisk 0-60 reached between 5.4 to 5.9 seconds, tons of aftermarket support, looks amazing and has factory warranty that the Camaro wont have.
Personally, I think the ND miata is much better, lighter, handles better, more reliable, don't have to worry about headgasket failure, still has a ton of after market support
So are you gonna just not tell people it’s a literal Subaru engine in A FUCKING TOYOTA! Terrible engine; if ur gonna get a gr86 think about getting a new brz or even the new Corolla atleast they’re reliable and you don’t necessarily have to worry about going sideways due to shit handling issues. Although there is speculation going around that 2024/2025 they’re gonna switch the Subaru engine and put a 3 cylinder turbo. Too bad they’re trying to markup the gr86 5-10gs for a car that honestly isn’t worth it

Tell me this Brendan. Is a Range Rover Sport a platform to modify? In order to remove 3,000 pounds from a car you will have to go to extreme lenghts. It will never have a low center of gravity. But the main thing it lacks is aftermarket options. You can not find more then 3 coilover kits for a range rover where as the brz you can find tons and tons. Get smarted.
