Well I guess the clowns NEVER got the Memo, cause IF he is known n feared WHY OH WHY ARE THEY LAUGHING AT HIM WHEN HE COMES OUT OF THE SHADOWS? (Then again Id laugh too seeing a guy dress up like a bat😏lol, ESP one that looks SO BAD n GOOFY LOOKING!🤪 I MEAN WHAT IS WITH THAT HELMET AND THOSE HORNS👿?? Not only does it make his head look FAT, but the horns are too pointy and DOESNT go with the suit. WHY then are they NOT running away in fear?🤔🤨😕 It just DOESNT MAKE SENSE!🤷‍♂😑🙄 So they've taken one of the BEST moments from the trailer and done F@%#£D IT UP!🤦‍♂ CLEARLY its an editing mistake on the editors part😒 Itd be better if THIS scene came BEFORE the monologue as an intro to The Batman and THEN have the rest

He is exceptinally good for year one/two and hopefully Reeves' movies stay in that frame. But he would be terrible in a new JL adaptation. Pattison in 35 years old, but looks atleast 10 years yonger. He would never convincingly do mature Batman. Nor do I want him to, since mature Batman, JL and expanded DC universe is bunch of comicbook trash.

@@castrodan4983 He proved them wrong multiple times way before he was cast. Most comic book fans have 0 culture, so they never seen him in post twilight movies. Playing Batman is a child's play for him, just as it was for every actor ever got cast as Batman.

Honestly I was a little underwhelmed by it. It’s still a good film but far from the best Batman movie. Shame it had potential from the opening

@@damiantirado9616 I see where you're coming from. I just like horror/thriller movies in general, so for me, this one was very fun to watch. It did a good job capturing the "detective" aspect of Batman and I just loved it.

@@Zapatozi I like horror movies too that’s why I was disappointed with the Batman the opening was a horror thriller and the rest was a superhero film. There’s also too many characters and they aren’t fleshed out. It would’ve worked better as a tv show.

@@damiantirado9616 I think it worked out well. I wouldn't say the rest of the movie was entirely a superhero movie. It's more of a thriller "detective" type movie and that's what made this movie so different from the other superhero movies. I know some people got disappointed and some loved it, I'm one of those who loved it.

It's interesting because there are multiple scenes that do show Batman's ability to be silent and invisible in this film, which means that the heavy footsteps are likely intentional and used as an intimidation tactic. Great detail

I understand that with that being said there are certain fundamental things about batman and him being a silent ninja super genius polymath detective is one of them.

They failed on the ninja aspects as well. The dark knight trilogy never showed him using ninja skills or athleticism. They only introduced it in batman begins but that was about it. Big Disappointment

Yeah the heavy footsteps is a nice touch. It’s slow enough to be able to tell that the footsteps were meant for them thugs and not just some random person walking throughZ

Watch it, if you haven't yet. It's truly amazing. A triumph of filmmaking.

Idk why, probably just my obsessive film knowledge, but I wasn't surprised by the Riddler's reveal, I was expecting him to be there. However, I watched it a second time with my mother and she literally jumped and screeched when he popped up. Definitely a movie to experience with an audience

I love the writing of this movie was based off The Long Halloween comic and movie. The animated movie and comic The Long Halloween are very good. I proudly own both

Its literally just NYC. I live in the neighborhood where this particular sequence takes place/was filmed. Midtown/Hells Kitchen.

I love the shot of the Drophead when he sees the signal. He realizes he’s nothing but prey, live prey, and your own imagination runs wild with him as you look into that dark street. Batman isn’t a virtuous hero at the start. He’s a god damned predator.

Absolutely, so dark & gritty & very intense.

That's interesting. As a lifelong Batman fanatic, this is easily my all time least favorite live action Batman film ever made and it's not even particularly close, just an absolutely boring film all the way across the board, hated every minute of it.

It was great on the big screen but watched it again lastnight on the TV & it was just as good.
