In Laikipia the story is more than 94 minute film. There is a lot to be told. Samburu getting into distinctions. We fought for existence but nobody cared. When we are finished the world will remember us.

The fact remain one....the land is stolen and its doing more damage to the people that good. In all these more than 45 ranches, not even a single ranch employs personnel from this communities in white collar roles except as shepherd and watchmen. So absurd.

Too many people. Just look at the population of Kenya from, say, 1980 to present. Tripled! It's now beyond the carrying capacity for either cattle ranchers or the pastoralist way of life. Too many cattle -- especially goats, which are especially destructive. The problem would be acute --- with or without conservancies --- with or without climate change. Too many pastoralists and ranchers believing that the land is infinite and has infinite capacity. Similar issues all over the world. Laikipia is not especially unique.
