I don't see the problem with Price, gracious in defeat from what I see, and the people that beat him seem to laugh and hug with him at the end. I just think he plays with emotion, but top class professional other than the roaring.
He is not having any of the crowd booing at him and everything. He eats it all and just play the darts. Peter is my favourite, but Price is brilliant...
Funny thing is, after this world championship at the end of the year, Wright is garanteed to be the new number 1 if Price does not defend the title. And also rn at the UK Open it will be very hard for Price to defend the spot. He has to make at least the final and Wright has to lose in the early rounds

@@johnlynch9940 Because Price will lose the money for the UK Open 2020 after the tournament. He was in the final 2020. And Peter Wright lost in the last 16 so he has not to defend as much money as Price
i appreciate wrighty for not throwing a hissy fit because of the amount of passion gerwyn shows, he understands and has a laugh with him, proper good guy
All I listened to the last few days was how Peter was gonna take over number 1. Even Peter said it.............. and promptly ate his words. Good on Price, obviously he was not listening. Go Price! Certainly the better player yesterday.
Isn't the person that makes the doubles the winner of all games of 501 though? That's like saying in a driving race, " If only my driver crossed the finish line first, then he would have won."
Dont think anybody will be dominant again like Taylor or MVG ,there's to many top players around,and the young ones coming up, i cant see it , but the standard now is out of the water .
These 2 and MVG are the 3 i cannot simply stand to watch , because of their silly antics on stage, but in all fairness , they get the business done , and especially these 2 at the moment, are consistently a level above the others.

He just plays with intensity. If you watch him earlier in the year when he wasn't doing it his form dipped. You can't blame him the crowd give him a hard time every week
Such a jerk too, kept yelling after winning over his opponent's missed opportunities (1:55, 10:00, 12:50), flexed his muscles after his first ton (7:29), and thumped his fist a little bit too much after just one poor visit (10:25), while kept stepping forward to the oche way too early every other time rudely and intimidatingly, all happening in the early stage when they were playing even steven, not after he'd gained an edge from Peter. Looking like quite a lot of Number ones, including the Power and MVG, all had done similiar tricks to disturb their oppoenents to help them reaching this spot...
