My 2nd gala of the year and this time it was The Battlefield Line's WInter Warmer Gala with 3 visiting steam locomotives in passenger service and resident 08701 shunting at Market Bosworth to release the steam locomotive and the shuttle service.
Locomotives in passneger service GWR Large Prairie 4144 & 5199 and BR Standard Class 2 78018.

I've never seen an 08 shunter running without the coupling rods before. A new one on me. Steam rules supreme. Let's hope you can complete your bucket list.

I have at least 3 videos from my lists still to edit with one from a recent visit to London and 2 from visitng Scotland Next weekend I'm back in London and hope to get some steam action in at the Spa Valley if I have time.
