Usually german delivery. Then you take it on a roundtrip maybe the nürburgring and then ship it to the states. The numbers on the right tell how long its vallid. Day on top then month then year. So should have something like 05 07 23 5th july of 2023
Literally my favorite car on youtube. Thanks for bringing our favorite beast back. This car is so fun while offering both comfort and incredible... everything. I love this car so much, if I could I would buy it from you without thinking twice. I wish, I SO wish I could hear this car in person, I heard from people who were close to it that it is actually WAY too loud and make their ears actually hurt and ring for several minutes for standing close to it. You can tell it's just way too loud by the way it distorts the sounds that is picked up by the camera even though it's a good, pro-level camera. When a sound comes up distorted in a pro camera, you can bet it's LOUD.
@@WondurrEdits because this car doesn't even exist in my country in the first place, and the logistics to take it to Japan to get the brilliant exhaust would be a nightmare and so expensive I would probably be capable of buying 2 houses here for what I would pay for all the logistics services. If you think anyone can make that exhaust... oh sir, how wrong you are. The amounth of smart work and engineering put into that thing is not for the faint of heart, there is a reason why it costs so much. I'm not a multimillionaire to do that kind of stuff, just the exhaust of that car alone would pay around 10 years worth of rent in my country.
I agree with your statement. I am currently a cat owner myself, and I have seen many people on RU-vid or social media who neglect or abandon dogs without a sense of responsibility. It is truly wrong, and those who cannot care for animals properly should face consequences. Additionally, it saddens and angers me to see people who are unaware of cats or handle them in a negative or improper manner. As a cat owner, it truly makes me sad and frustrated.
The Porsche's plates at 8:51 are german "Ausfuhrkennzeichen" (german export plates, basically). They are used (obviously) for exporting cars and have short time insurance and registration. The date on the right side in the red area (dd/mm/yy) is when it expires
Time for an upgraded transmission Gordon. Something that will make it shift a little bit faster and have a quicker downshift. Tuning the trans may be possible also.
Shift solenoids might be tired so an upgrade on those and a valve body would make it quick. Did this to my Cressida and no joke, it made it shift almost like a modern day ZF 8 speed
It's a shame those S600s have so many other issues because they sounds so awesome with a good aftermarket exhaust. Looks like this is a nice build, simplify, dump the air suspension, maintain where you can.
the w140 didnt come with an air suspension the w140 600s came with normal shocks on the front and a hydraulic rear suspension the rest of the w140 lineup came with normal shocks
You understand the the tragedy that comes with that , totally mess up the electronics of the s class literally spending 4 hours in shop and rest of its life in the shop
I saw this done in a Lexus LS400, a car that was heavily inspired by this Mercedes and it was quite the hack job, but it was a beater drift car anyway.
@@vlonethugger2094 I explained this to someone else but they don't understand. They just said "but Pagani did it, why can't he?" Bro, come on now. People think it's taking the car to the shop and saying "yeah I want manual" and that's it, they don't think about all the problems that would come out of it. It's just not worth it.
@@vlonethugger2094he automatic box has its own control module so installing a manual will cause 0 issues. Its common practise in europe with the same boxes
Plates from the GT3 are temporary plates from Germany, you get to use them for a full month (red stripe, if it was yellow then it would be 1 week) with an insurance sticked to that same plate for the duration that it states in the red band (month/day), once it reaches to that date both plate and insurance goes off
It sounds so awesome. Imagine how cool the gearshifts would sound if it had a manual gearbox. I wish i could put this engine in my w124. But then there wouldn't be any room left in the engine bay for these headers to get that f1 sound. Lol.
I was just rewatching all your old videos about this car last week. So glad it's back! Whenever I talk to anyone irl about your channel, this is the car they immediately mention. This car is FAMOUS, this was inevitable.
Hey alright good to see the V12 S Class car back out trolling the streets! Also some very nice cars you saw today too! Thanks for sharing! I have to say this is by far my favorite car on RU-vid! Good to see you back out with the boys too! Must feel great!
The plates on the gt3 are (in Sweden at least) for cars that have recently been imported before getting its own registrated plate, and or an Export plate. So it can be driven right before getting exported, so basically a provisional plate.
man that s600 never gets old glad to see it back in action but with the fuel prices i bet is expensive to even cruise arround in it specially when knowing theres a Zonda sounding V12 Under the Hood bet you cant keep your foot out of the gas pedal
@@LRMillsy yeah, of course, but before doing any of that, first he would have to check if it's even possible to do it with this car, because it's not possible for every car to be swapped.
Thinking about what a shorter gearing would do, it'll make it sound more like an f1 car with quick acceleration, and you can also tell cops that the thing won't go past 80mph 😂
Who would have thought that was a $12000 Brilliant Exhaust? Lol, I've been watching your channel for years and you've said that at least 12,000 times. All good bro, still sounds amazing
I can't really tell how fast that car actually is it sounds amazing it looks great I would love to see it line up next to another car so I can actually see how quick it was or go down to Mexico and get some footage of the speedo and tach only on a closed course in Mexico of course
It's probably not very fast, those weight almost 5k lbs, it's a luxury barge that's designed for smoothness and comfort....not speed. Regardless, it does sound glorious with that exhaust.
The Plate on the white GT3 is from Germany. The S is for the region of Stuttgart. Normally there are Date Numbers on the Red Part, because its a Spezial Short Term Plate also seen because of the missing infomous TÜV Sticker. An normal one would be plane white with the blue European Flag on the left.
Company design language and design signature won't allow it. It's outdated for nowadays Standards. It's a shame but it wouldn't really fit in a modern car with those shapes. It belongs to that era of interiors. There it will be always perfect. - an automotive enthusiast, certified with no idea of what I am talking about
The license plate on the Gt3 was a German „Ausfuhrkennzeichen“ you have it on your car if your selling it to another country and want to drive the way there. The license only lasts for a couple of days or weeks 9:00
