I wonder how we can get close ups of the crowd. My sister and I were at boarding school and we were on our way to the railway station to catch the train home. The Beatles came out on the balcony of the south Australia hotel and we couldn’t believe it. I’m 70 now. We’d have to be there somewhere in our school uniforms. It’s something I’ve never forgotten.
Saturday morning. The 'Retail Houses' close at 12 noon on a Saturday in 1964.... Would have been so dead in the city on the weekend back then. I remember going out clubbing in 1993/94 staying out all night pinging of my head on LSD and XTC and walking down the barren streets and Rundle Mall early Sunday morning, not a soul to be seen or heard all morning. How things have changed in the last 30 years
