For me that was not only a trip down Penney Lane, but also Memory Lane. I remember as a child witnessing the Beatles come onto the world scene. They definitely made an impact on society. 🦀

Their visit here was a big deal too. I was asked if I wanted to go to the concert but turned the invitation down. I am not sure why I did that as I love their music. Probably a little young and the hype scared me a bit as I had not seen that reaction in people before.

Thanks. We would love to go back one day as we only had the afternoon there. We had to head south rather quickly to an event that was taking place the next day.

Excellent video and tour of Liverpool. I have been there a few times many years ago to watch football. I have visited the Cavern Club. Did you have any trouble with the Scouse accent?

Thanks glad you liked it. We really didn't meet anyone with a strong Scouse accent. We had dinner in the suburbs and they sounded more like the Beatles 🙂
