Hard to believe The Beatles made so much great music in such a relatively short space of time. Less than seven years. Unbelievable.

The fact Paul helped John with this song, and much later on, helped Yoko repair her marriage to John following the "lost weekend," reveals so many sweet layers to their friendship. Paul was always a real friend to John and all the people touched by him, no matter what.

This is one of my favorite Beatles song. John’s voice is so distinct. Love his voice.

True story: John and Paul did this song. John played guitar and Paul played drums. John turns to Paul and says, Go a bit faster, RINGO! Paul replies, Okay, GEORGE!

John and Paul were really made to work together.

Considering this song was done by John Lennon and Paul McCartney with no Ringo or George Harrison, it's amazing. They certainly were phenomenal in every way.

The magic of the Beatles is in the layering of those vocals.

A bit of trivia.... John and Paul were the only two Beatles playing on this. Paul played all the percussion and piano and backing vocals and bass obviously. John on lead. George was out of town and Ringo was probably drinking.

"The way things are going, they are gonna crucify me". Unfortunately, he was right.

The Beatles are the best band ever. I listen to this song every day. Never tire of it. This song would be a top 5 hit even today.

Love John's vocals on this one, and McCartney's harmonies are flawless as usual. It's been said millions of times by now...but I'll say it again. These guys were geniuses.

I love how Paul's harmony sneaks in gradually until he's just ripping it up at the end.

One of the best original song recorded in the spur of a moment when the composer still feel the spirit of the song. Yeah emotion is needed even by one of the greatest singers ever.

I have always wondered if young people understand just how great music was from the late 50's to the late 70's and the Beatles were in the thick of it all and when they all went solo they continued with hits INCREDIBLE!!

In early 1970 it was hard to find this song as it was only on a 45. I had to go to the local arcade and play it on the jukebox. boom boom boom! that bass shaking the windows..ha..

After watching Get Back recently and revisiting this makes me love ‘em even more. I think it was still getting radio play while during the summer of 69... Always remember the older generation, particularly catholics like my parents, recoiling at the ‘christ you know it ain’t easy’ bit. McCartney’s contribution is awesome, John’s vocal too.

My older sister had this song on a 45. Listening to it for close to 50 years. One of my favorites.

The beatles, the best in 1964 and the best in 2022. I still listen to their music all the time. They are just as relevant today as they were in the 60's. Their message of peace and love will never be obsolete. Its timeless. Love and peace is what everyone wants. Love u Beatles.

You're John Lennon, you have all these disagreements with Paul, relationship at an all time low, etc... but then when there's music to be made he records your song with you playing all these instruments, godlike vocal armonies and makes the song sound great. How can you not love this guy? it's impossible. I totally love John and his music, but Paul deserves sooo much credit. Genius isn't a big enough word to describe Paul's talent.
